I tried to get tickets today, someone really nice is buying as a belated Birfday present. TicketBastard let me get all the way though and then said there were no tickets. This was after pre-sale was over; there was a link for regular priced early tickets.
Does it usually sell out super fast?
And holls, you can fly in Friday night and out Sunday. It can will happen. (Once Bamabelle came up for 18 hours to go to a show. You can do this easy. )
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Meredith and I will be at Newport Folk. We will most likely be staying at my folk's though since it's in Jamestown which you can take a short ferry ride to the venue. Trying to get idio and Vicki to join us. Might drive up to Quack Club for a bit though if there's a big group.

We're hoping for a big group and having you all would be great. We're thinking of branching out into different vomit flavors this year so it shouldn't be missed. Of course we are offering sleeping nooks and crannies again if travel becomes perilous.
New to the board but I'm a festival nut...and this seems like a good place.
Anyway....I'm going to the Newport Lineup Release party tonight in Cambridge, MA. They do it every year. My friend actually does the lineup release video at the party and then that is how they release the lineup tomrrow with his video. So I'll have the lineup later on tonight at the party...cannot wait!!
Newport is one of my favorite places to see music..going to be another great year!

I wish but absolutely no way it is happening. I was planning on doing one fest this year and I'm already 2. No way I could afford another. I'll be glued to the webcast though (they do have a webcast right?)
