Ok, Is there anyone with an extra Deer Tick show? I wasn't gonna spend the money but now I really quacking want to.
Yep, I have a couple extras for Friday night. When they went on sale it was a huge cluster-f so once I got through I bought 6 in case people count get any... then inevitably everyone got through. Haha.
Oh man I have wanted to see Middle Brother forever! YESSSS!!!!
All they need are the Dawes boys and we'll be set. Even if they don't do a full Middle Brother kind of show I'm sure we'll get a few of the songs since most of the members are definitely there.

So i know everyone else is already looking for extras for deer tick saturday night but if there ends up being 2 extras i would compensate you nicely. I was originally supposed to head home saturday night but now i don't have to. I thought i had 2 tickets from someone and it fell through.
Just had a really cool thing happen. I still had at least one 2 day NFF ticket set in my possession without a home. On a whim I went out to Craig's list and did a search.
A local artist - my age - was asking to get a ticket for face value - no scalping support, or trade a painting. Checked him out and he does some cool album cover stuff among other things.
We just chatted on the phone. He's a big local music fan, mentioned being good friends with Low Anthem, and said make sure we check out another local Joe Fletcher.
Going to meet him saturday am and trade a painting for a sat/sun ticket. That was cool and felt right. Yay.
Starting to get pretty excited for this fest. I am really looking forward to putting names and faces to avatars and nicknames. I half expect everyone to look like their avatar at this point Normally I would be apprehensive going to a festival solo since I can be somewhat introverted but with all you guys and gals being there I feel like I have a huge entourage rolling with me. I guess I've never even formally introduced myself- my name is Austin and I'm very happy to be here Can't wait to hang with you guys!
Anyone by chance going to Red Rocks the week after for MMJ and Neil? I think I recognize Baecwon from Roll Call, hopefully I can meet some peeps at Newport and then see them again in Colorado the following weekend. Let the good times roll

You folks have fun. I've decided to forgo Newport - I've decided to turn my Coachella trip next spring into a two-week venture around Cali, so all hands on deck for that endeavor. I'd probably be more bummed out if the NFF schedule wasn't such a clusterf*ck. Seriously, I don't know how anyone expects to navigate that Sunday quagmire. Ah well.
For those of you going in to town, do yourselves a favor and go to the Gaslamp, ask for the lobster pizza. Seriously, you won't regret it.

We're having Lobsta Saute at QC if that counts at all. Fresh lobsta's - cooked, cracked, and ready to be warmed in butter and garlic. ;D
