Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Rush used to be an fm DJ and had Elton John play at his wedding. I'll take my chances with him. You guys keep Debbie Wasserman Shultz over at your camp.
i hope i can run into some of you guys.this is my first wanee, but have been to roo 6xs.just moved to florida from upstate ny.i plan on rolling into wanee wed. morning
phreeker, Welcome to Florida(where u at?) and about Wanee, you will love it! SOSMP is an amazing venue! Looking forward to seeing all of you there! Surf, will work out logistics later, but we always camp behing the ampitheater. You might have to park in the lot, depending on when you get there, but it is not far at all.
I am planning on doing another "short-cut" camp, depending on what land I can grab on Tuesday. It shall be bigger and better than the "short-cut" camp at Bear Creek, but in the same spot.
More details to come on that, but hope you all come and check it out!
hey Scrog,i've seen you on inforoo for awhile. i am living down by mayo fl. i am only like 35 miles from sos. i cant wait. would really like to hang with some cool people that are on here. coming by myself and dont know anyone here.
And I saw somewhere Zach Deputy said he would be playing at 4:20 on 4.20 lol
Im not sure of the source of the ABB/Furthur time slots though. Could be someone making stuff up
Festival ends Saturday night. Maybe ABB 4-7 Furthur 8-11 Friday Furthur 4-7 ABB 8-11 Saturday This would make sense as it gives both headliners the same time and lets ABB close.
Hey guys, old-time boarder here, haven't been on in a couple years, but it's looking more and more like I'll be doing Wanee solo this year. Went for the first time last year and it was love at first campsite. Scrog and Spun, you guys seem to be the ringleaders here, so I'd like to invite myself along with you guys, maybe.
All the first-timers, been to Bonnaroo 06-08, Rothbury in 09, and Wanee is my favorite festival I've been to. Venue is epic. Showers and flushing toilets don't hurt. And the river, of course.

Yeah, I meant Fri/sat not Sat/sun - just brain farted when typing it out.
If this is the case, though, I wonder when Mule plays? I hope not THursday...

I was hoping they were going to trade off on Fri and Sat, what an event this is going to be! I just got word that we should be able to make it this year! Gotta do some last minute ticket purchasing now...
I expect Mule to Headline Thursday, which could be a good thing. We could get mule 8pm to Midnight or later.
I'm thinking you are right about Gov't Mule Headlining Thursday. It'll be good. It's the best way to have them do a full show on the big stage. The late night was good but too crowded. I'm thinking Tedesci/Trucks plays before The Mule. That way Derek and Warren will have Friday and Saturday to concentrate on the Allmans and, of course, multiple sit-ins.
There was a post on the Wanee forum from someone who is assumed to have inside information. The post was pretty vague, and a bit annoying. It said something like
"Hang tight, we will be releasing the whole schedule at once, not a few bands at a time like we did last year"
I don't understand the hold up. Its 3 weeks away for crying out loud!!

Yup, that's pretty annoying...
I haven't got my ticket yet, but still planning on it! Planning on getting there bout noon thursday, will primitive camping spots be hard to come by at that point or plenty available? This will be my 1st Wanee, been to SOS a few times though...

Come on old time boarder, I will be getting there early, looking at sometime Tuesday. I have a specific spot I am looking at. I will be able to save a lot of land for tents and such, but a lot of cars might be another issue. Well not really, you can park your car less than a 5 minute walk away. So I will be able to have a spot to pitch a tent, but depending on how many people I do that for, depends on who parks at camp and who parks in the "Lot".
Gov't Mule will be playing Saturday on the big stage before Furthur. I got this info from Stef Scamardo on XM. For those that don't know, in addition to being a DJ on XM'S Jam On channel, she is married to Warren and manages Gov't Mule.
