I think there's a few stand out tracks like "Twist" and "Runwayaway" but for the most part it's pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Thom Yorke solo record. Good, well-produced, but not overly exciting to listen to on repeat.
After watching the video and further contemplation, I've concluded that the album gets much better with multiple listens, but still maybe not the type of album to listen to on repeat
Just watched an interview with Thom Yorke. He hinted that the next thing he does will probably be more guitar and piano based. He said he needs a break from all the electronics. That's very encouraging for me. I like the electronic stuff but I'm always ready for them to pick up the guitars again.

Was he talking about solo stuff or with the band?
I took it as Radiohead. He technically just put out 2 solo albums. I would be very surprised if it was another solo album before another Radiohead album.

I guess they're doing curated stuff too? God damn, this band.
"Bonnaroo in 2006 was just a great gig for us.. we were on tour in North America playing in songs for what would be In Rainbows... we knew we were playing a Jam fest and therefore had longer to play, so we did what was probably our longest ever set.. near the 3 hour mark. It was a glorious warm balmy Southern night, and the groove was good.. the audience were incredible ... Love and live for nights such as this..."

After watching Lolla 2016 and Roo 2012 today while I worked, Chicago absolutely blew manchester out of the water. amazing how much they improved in those 4 years.

Interesting. I didn’t rewatch but I thought 12 was better than 16 at the time.
I have one of those two at home, I'll check later tonight. Idk if is necessarily whatever's officially posted though.

At the time 12 was great, but listening to it again now with all the TKOL tracks, it really hasn’t aged well for me. They still sound great, but I never listen to most of those songs at all anymore.
