Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This sounds great, eliminating the road crossing will be a huge help!
^ That's the sole reason for the move! (Well, that...and driving a stick shift in 'Roo traffic sucks!)
Our other possible meet-up spots (Home Depot, directly across the street from Kimberly Ln and Walmart) both require us to cross Hillsboro Hwy. As of last count today, our caravan has 63 people in 29 vehicles, excluding RVs!
*** THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE RESPONDED TO MY HEAD-COUNT REQUEST!!! EVERYONE ELSE: RSVP ASAP!!! ***

Hey guys! I'm a little late to join in on this, but I just made the upgrade this past week into VIP. Beyond excited! I met a few people at the Brunch last year, hope to meet some more
Holls honey, All I can say is good luck on your proposed meet up location.
I wouldn't expect them to welcome 29 cars and several RV's, and would more likely expect them to have thier driveway blocked off.
Have you contacted them yet? they are a church ya know, you may be able to give them a bribe donation and they might let you in. we all know how much churchs love money!!
You might want to reconsider the location you and I discussed if this falls through. I know you have one traffic light to go through, but it may be your best bet as far as getting everyone together at the same location.
Just a thought!!

Ok, so...
1) Where are the lounges? What's in them? 2) Will we be okay to ride in Wednesday night with the Roo Crew RV since we don't actually plan on camping in the VIP area? 3) Are there VIP bathrooms in Centeroo or just the VIP camping area?
I will have more questions. That's just all that I have been able to think of so far.
Welcome. First, you know there is an RV VIP right? Now on to your questions:
1 - 3 lounges. One in VIP camping with power, computers, AC, TV screens, couches to chill on, etc. Another on VIP hill in What, and another between comedy and Which. All have a bar in them that requires cash, but it is a lot fast access to alcohol if you want it. I don't spend a lot of time in the lounges so one of the lizards may be better for you on this question.
2 - VIP does not open until Thursday. I don't know if they will change that this year or not, but they were definitely closed last year on Wednesday.
3 - VIP bathrooms are located in the VIP section of What. Not sure about anywhere else.
Thanks WLV. I've never really looked into VIP, so I don't really know much about it.
Dave, trust me: you'll learn all you need once you're there. And it doesn't hurt that y'all know a helpful Inforooster or two who can show you the ropes...just sayin'
PS: THISISSOQUACKINGAWESOME!!!
PPS: Roofan...man, you know I can bat my eyelashes & sell ice to Eskimos! I'm prepared to go to our other sites even if it means crossing the street (ugh), but I'ma try my damnedest to schmooze those church folks. And all God's people said, "Amen!" ;D

Do you know the answer to my entrance conundrum, holls? We are planning on staying at the RV through the weekend, so would we be able to go in Wednesday night since we wouldn't be camping in the VIP area?

^ They won't open VIP until Thursday at 8a.m., so you're stuck in GA RV until then.
LOUNGES: oh.dear.lord. - you're gonna LOVE THEM. Check this out:
White leather sofas...tables, chairs, places to recharge your phone...all while the shows from What and Which stages are broadcast on big-screen TVs:
And the bathrooms have sinks with running water...and air freshener!
^ TRUE! But you can ask nicely at the VIP Food Tent (sometimes they have a nice attendant guarding the entry) and they'll fill your Camelbak with crushed ice for free... sooooo refreshing!
The VIP women apparently have a lot more faith in the bathrooms and their attendants then the men. I have never seen a guy think about drinking the water from a faucet in the bathroom.
Well the women's have signs on the mirrors telling you not to drink it, as seen in Holls photo above (kinda blurry, but it's the one that says CAUTION).

We're still saying the the RV of Love. You don't think I'm gonna pass up on a whole weekend sleeping near Phil, are you? I just wanted to know because, if we had to wait until Thursday, we'd have to come in separate.
LOUNGES: oh.dear.lord. - you're gonna LOVE THEM. What else ya wanna know???
I am so confused by the apparent level of comfort at Roo. Seems wrong some how. What time is the VIP dinner thing on Thursday?

Ok wow! Nice Pictures!! I expected it to be nice but that is like a 5 star hotel compared to GA!! I am getting so excited, I want to meet people from the group!!! This is my first time in VIP and I am probally going to be way over packed since I still have the frame of mind that you need to survive GA!!

Well I hate to say it but Erin and I are probably out for this year.
I've been job hunting and thought I could push a start date out past Bonnaroo but I just got 3 verbal offers this past week and all of them conflict with Bonnaroo. I don't think it's a good idea to request vacation during my second week on the job.
We will be back next year and we'll also be at Lolla and just bought tickets to Riot Fest. Hopefully we can catch up with a few of you there.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Boo to that...but YAY FOR 3 JOB OFFERS!!! That means you can buy Coachella tix for the rest of us, right?
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that you can magically receive vacation time & be there with us. But if that doesn't happen, then...we will definitely miss you both! VIP won't be the same without y'all! Good luck w/the new job!
SAY IT AINT SO! Dammit Jeff. I understand, but am still upset. You and Erin have a spot at our table anytime. Get thee to the West Coast! We love you and will miss you, verily.
HOLY QUACK! In 23 days we'll be rolling in with everyone!
eep
requests for Portland beers begin below this post... I think we have 5 (FIVE!) checked bags so we can fit a sixer or two for anyone interested.
