^ I know they streamed the Which Stage shows, so I guess they did the same for the What Stage. I was never in the tents for the headliner shows.
The VIP tent under the Which bleachers is still there, but now there's a separate A/C tent (the same size as the one in VIP) a stone's throw away from Which, headed toward the Comedy Tent. Can't remember if that was there in '10 or not...
Hiii!!!!!! im a first timer!!!!! I am so excited!! What was one thing that you forgot to bring the first time you went!! What are some things I should really bring that i may forget about!! all recommendations appreciated!!! Thanks ;D ;D ;D ;D

To all the well-seasoned (in experience, certainly not in looks) VIPers out there...we believe we are well prepared, but the pressing question us newbies have is, what is the scoop on Thursday morning arrival? We were lucky enough to score a room in Murfreesboro, and we'll be leaving from there early Thursday morning, but the question is how early should we leave? Thank you in advance for imparting your infinite wisdom upon myself and my better (looking) half.
I apologize for being AWOL from Inforoo. Getting the wedding plans together has been a crazy one in the last few months. But, now, everything is DONE! Just gotta get to the church on time, or so they say.
I can't wait to see you crazy kids in 4 weeks! EEEEEEEE!

They change how it works every year it seems, but I think they got it down the last 2 years. I do not camp with the Inforoo group, mostly because I am an uncouth, irrational hill-dweller that they have not civilized yet, but I think they have a meeting place in Manchester and they caravan over.
If you are a free hill-dweller like me, they will send out a time that they open the VIP gates. Plan to get there either an hour before if you want one of the first spots or an hour after if you want the line to go down. That has worked for us the last few years. The only advantage to first spot is that you get an extra hour or two to set up before the sun reaches full intensity. If they park us like they have in previous years, you actually may end up farther away from Centeroo. Welcome to the land of AC bathrooms and showers!
YES, we will meet in Manchester and ride together en masse... but it's OPTIONAL. Stay tuned; I'll make an announcement in the next week or so.
I was @ the Farm this past Sunday afternoon checking out possible meet-up spots. More info to come soon!
EDIT: I have some places scoped out, but I need to check w/roofanintn regarding their plausibility. Hang tight, y'all. I should have more info by Friday morning when I head out for Beale St. Fest.

Thanks for the insight, Viking. While I appear to be significantly more couth than yourself, I am painfully shy and do not do well speaking with strangers as I am afraid they will take my things and tie me to the nearest stationary object. As such, I will most likely only be accompanied by my handler, who is less shy of course, but is also charged with ensuring my safety. Because of this, such information is invaluable. Danka.

VIP has fewer random wanderers than GA, but take the normal precautions. That said, if getting tied up to stationary objects is your thing, we can make it happen for you! ;D

I must have overlooked this section of VIP last year! Here I thought it was only flashing and leg humping; learn something new every day. 33 more days until I hit the road (in my chariot powered by unicorns and glitter)!!
Hi all! This is the second Roo for my wife and I, and second VIP, just never at Camp Inforoo. We'd love to join up with you guys! So, add me +1! Names are Josh and Maggie, by the way.
What's the process for meeting up? I assume we meet up somewhere on Thursday morning, then drive in together to get camp sites next to each other?

HI! So exciting to meet new friends! Read the post about four up from Holls who is awesomely negotiating our meet up. She'll contact us all soon. ;D

Hey there, Josh & Maggie! So glad y'all will be part of our shenanipants-wearin', merry mayhem-makin' crew!
As the lovely manyaviolet said, we DO meet up as a group and roll in together to minimize any possible separation. You certainly don't have to meet up with us off-site; it just makes it easier. Plus, seeing & hearing the squeals of delight from those of us who haven't seen each other since last 'Roo is something to behold.
So stay tuned next week for more details. I should have the meetup location/time posted by next Friday. Have any questions? PM me! Thanks! ;D
