Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We have two of these from Steep and Cheap too! After our air mattress failed last year, I figured cots would be the way to go. I love that I can stretch all the way out on them (arms and everything)and pretty much roll over twice without falling off. These things are enormous, but pack down reasonably "small" for their size. The only thing is that I pretty much have to fling myself out of it because they are pretty tall...and I am not.
Hi! I'm new to the boards here... well, new to Posting anyway... This thread is what ultimately made me finally join in the fun!
This will be my 5th 'Roo, and my hubby's 6th. Since we were married (in Vegas!) last September, we thought this would be a fitting time to try out the VIP amenities (well that, and we haven't been since '09, so less walking was a plus, too lol ).
We were already joking about this being our "Bonnaroon," so when the theme started going in that direction, I got SO excited! "Omigod, they're doing a Wedding Theme this year! Synchronicity! We HAVE to join! We can take BUBBLES!!" Eeeeeee!!! lol lol
So, um, yeah. I don't know how to be all official about it, and I know nothing of how to do PMs, sigs, or having neat little pictures show up by my name (yet), but rest assured, my hubby and I are IN. With bubbles.

I'm new to posting here, but I've been reading for awhile before deciding to go official. My husband and I are going to be celebrating our 5th anniversary and decided to go to Bonnaroo since it just seemed the thing to do We would love to be part of this group, if you'll have us ;D
We would love to be part of this group, if you'll have us ;D
^ Well of course we'll have you! Consider yourselves JOINED!
I'll add y'all (plus the serendipitous "diversion" duo) to the list! Feel free to join our Facebook group, too. The link is on Page 1 of this thread.
In the coming weeks, we'll post more detailed information regarding our pre-entry meet-up. I'll also ask for your personal details (SS#, blood type, dog's name, favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor, etc.) CONTACT INFO for planning purposes. Trust me, having other VIP's digits proves helpful when you're trying to contact someone in the group Thursday morning!
Have questions? Just ask! We're happy to help and can't wait to see everyone!
sooo would a stereo and beer pong table be welcome items with this crowd or annoyances?
Stereo =
Beer pong =
It sounds as if you already have on your party pants. Excellent! Let us know how many will be in your group...we need to make sure we put this beer pong table in a prime area for maximum group use!
Also, if any of you are concerned about sleeping and want to be in a "quieter" area of the group, that's no problem! We'll work out those details in the coming weeks.
Is there really as much humping as people say? These questions and more will be answered in the next installment of Camp Inforoo VIP.
YES! Inforooster Leg Humping is not a VIP-exclusive act. Humping occurs all over the Farm, at unpredictable moments, by both genders, all weekend!
For those who haven't practiced and/or perfected their leg humping skillz, take a few pointers from Scrog:
1. For maximum humping pleasure, bend with the knees; 2. The humpee needs not be an active participant in the humping; 3. Tongue placement is at the humper's discretion; 4. Smile and enjoy!
Hi! Please add me to the Inforoo VIP group! I am coming from Orlando, Florida. I have my VIP ticket and can't wait!! (I am trying to get in to Roll Like A Rockstar, but VIP is my "plan B" option.) I just joined Inforoo but I am having a great time reading and digesting all of the information here!! ;D
Welcome, orlando! Even if you opt for the Rock Star treatment, you'll be able to wander into our VIP area and chill with us any time. Got questions? Ask away & we'll see you in June!

Yes! Regardless of where I wind up I plan on seeking out the Inforoo crowd! Everyone seems pretty cool and I will probably be solo. I haven't been to too many festivals but I have been to a few. This will be my first Bonnaroo. For over 10 years I've wanted to go to Bonnaroo and each year there'd be some "reason" to not go. This year I said screw it and plunked my money down. One way or another I will be there! I can't wait! Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Nice to see someone else from Orlando coming up!
Hi! Yay! More from Orlando! I am sure there are plenty of us coming up! Depending upon where I wind up I might be looking to share a ride (either hitch with someone else or have space for one or two people.) I have a lot of gear (10' x 10' Ez-Up, tent, chairs, etc.) and space is always an issue. LOL.

Add 2 from Houston,TX to this parrrty! My 6th Roo, my fiance's 2nd. First time in VIP. We got engaged in the Pit last year during MMJ, so the theme is very appropriate.
"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski

Just out of curiosity, what's the average age in Inforoo VIP? Not that it matters, as we're camping with y'all anyway! I'm 35 and my wife is 31 (32 on the Monday we leave). I'm assuming we'll have a camp with an average age or 30 or so. We get along with all types though!

Not sure exactly (that info requires a special decoder ring & a secret handshake!) but I'd guess the average is in the mid-30s range.
You'll encounter all ages in VIP - from college students to folks who are old enough to be their grandparents. But the percentage of VIP folks who have multiple degrees, mortgages, and IRAs is probably higher than those out in GA. You'll blend in just fine.
PS - We shall toast you on your b'day before we depart!
Oh yeah, I had an idea about the theme, too... *Fair warning: I LOVE themes, and I can be a bit of an idea factory at times, so I will try not to get too carried away**
I was thinking that we could maybe repurpose some bear-shaped honey bottles (and animal cracker containers) into something cool for the HoneyROOn festivities, so if anyone likes that and wants to run with it(?), I already have one animal cracker container...
and druid - come on now, mid-30's is the answer to the question: how many drinks will druid have before noon
^ THIS!
OK, I'll admit: curiosity got the better of me. I just figured up the average age of the Top 50 posters (at least those whose age is listed), and it comes out to 35. So THERE, Druid. We're all 35. End of discussion.
