Hello everyone! I am a long-time fan of music, but have only recently been introduced to the festival scene thanks to my daughter. She has attended a couple of Bonnaroos, and she may have finally convinced me to try it out myself. I'm old, but I still have some kick left in me!

O.K. I'll kind of take the format of the initial post of this thread.
I went to Bonnaroo 2008 and found it very, very blissful. I bought my ticket for Bonnaroo 2009 the second that the holiday presale started. I'm 32 years old and I've been to hundreds of concerts (not counting the concerts that I played) and I found Bonnaroo to be an absolutely spiritual experience. Highlights of Bonnaroo 2008 were seeing fellow Kentuckians My Morning Jacket perform a religious set (while taking moments to sprint over and catch segments of Les Claypool, Kirk Hammet, and Gogol members in Superjam) and really interconnecting with Harrybu McCage and Pearl Jam Drummer Matt Cameron during the Harrybu McCage set on the Sonic Stage (I really felt like Thelonius Monk danced with me in spirit).
Anyway... I'll follow some of the prompts from the initial post. .
