Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Damn it. I have a Prince loving single friend. Oh well. Yea, married, house, cats, job, etc.
Again thanks for being such a good sport and reading the letter. We are trying to decide if it has any use for new posters. Welcome to the board. It's a bit crazy this time of year.
Well, i'm sure it will get much busier here in about a month, so you've got that going for you...which is nice.
Definitely use something like that letter. As a board with a solid history you need to make sure new people feel welcome to join in the conversations, but understand how and when to join.

Hi, I've been an infrequent poster, but constant lurker, for over 3 years now.... as the name aintnoencore.
I don't like Vodka, I don't like (baked) beans, I've never liked my username.
I've been to the last 4 Bonnaroo's, and one of my favorite moments ever was pregaming for Jay-Z with my buddy who was taking shots of Vodka with baked beans floating in the shot glass... loving every moment of it as I completely tripped out watching him do it and yelling at everyone passing by they could have a free shot of it if they wanted. So VodkaNbeans is what I decided to change my name to.
MMJ in 08 changed my life, but I have a good feeling that Phish will do wonders this year as my appreciation for their music has significantly grown in the last year or two. I'm equally excited for this year's potential undercard.... and have faith that even if this is not Radiohead's year, we are sure to get them in the next few. I do believe that booking MMJ > Arcade Fire last year is an indication that AC/Superfly is listening to us and that is AWESOME!
The proboards app definitely optimizes the inforoo experience..... I will most likely remain a lurker for the most part but you people really are completely amazing.

I lived in WI during the first two Roos, and had a couple of good friends who were of the hippie persuasion. As you can see from my first show (NIN), that wasn't really my scene at the time. They convinced me with promises of a good time though, and thus a huge life change was set into motion. I moved from WI to Boston, MA shortly after, and lost touch with those friends. However, I continued going to festies in my area (Vibes, Mtn. Jam, etc.) and found my inner wook.
My girlfriend and a couple of other friends expressed interest in Roo last year, and I was stoked to see how much the farm had changed, so I jumped on board. Turns out it's still awesome, and I can't wait to come back this year!
So from 02 to 11, did you feel it had changed for the better or the worse? Or just different? I can hear everyone groan at this question. But as someone that has gone to the first and last, with little in between, I'm curious in your answer.

Yea, I'm not a fan of the words better or worse when it comes to these things. Different is definitely appropriate though. Everyone's still there for a good time, but it did seem as if people were more interested in finding that good time through...err...chemicals, as opposed to music. I've never sold any of said chemicals to anyone, but I couldn't even tell you how many people came up and asked if I was selling anything this past year. It became a giant joke with all my friends by the end of the weekend. Like I said, not bad, just something that I noticed.
