Hello all! Long-time lurker on here, figured I might as well start chiming in. Bonnaroo 2019 was my first. I've only been to 3 festivals in my life (Roo 19, Shaky Knees 19, Firefly 18) due to lack of funds until after graduating college, but I've become a little obsessed with it and regularly follow discussions for most festivals as I try to decide which ones to go to.
In 2022 I will be going to Primavera Sound (both weekends). Completely unsure if I can make it to Roo (or other festivals) after how much of my budget and time off I'm using on Primavera, but definitely planning to be back more regularly starting in 2023! Roo is definitely the best of the 3 I've been to so far.
Hello all! I've been watching the fun from afar since late 2018, and have only been to one bonnaroo (2019). I'm so excited to be back with you all this summer. A lot has changed in my life since that weekend in 2019 and its going to be quite the trip to be there again, this time bringing my sister plus 3 other bonnanoobs. See you guys in June!!!

Hey all! I've been an Inforoo lurker from afar for at least a year now and decided to join since this will be my first Bonnaroo. My main festival has been Lollapalooza Chicago since 2018 but being in the midwest Bonnaroo has always been on my radar so I'm excited to experience it for the first time this summer!
2019 was my first Bonnaroo (and festival), and I've been lurking since 2021's lineup dropped. I'm excited for 2022, no matter who the headliners are!
Name: Bangyen
What my user name represents/means: My name
From: Falls Church, VA
Favorite Bands: Sara Landry, Amelie Lens, 999999999, Perc, Rina Sawayama, Kim Petras, Tame Impala, Khruangbin, REZZ, Men I Trust, Massive Attack, ODESZA

what up fellow techno fan! if you haven't been to Movement Detroit over memorial day weekend do keep an eye out for the lineup drop. it's an incredible cost effective festival with great crowd and logistics, plus there are tons of after parties in venues around the city that go all night.

The lineup teaser already has me interested! I'd love to see ANNA again, as well as MK and Testpilot for the first time.

you just got me googling, are you sure that teaser is for 2022? they had a teaser for 2021 but that festival didn't end up happening.

Oh whoops, I missed the part where it said 2021. My bad, haha.
all good! Anna is a Movement staple anyway, I wouldn't be surprised at all for her to me at Movement. wouldn't be surprised to see MK or Testpilot either. the last time Testpilot was at Movement he had a lot of technical issues, so a redemption set is in order.

Hi former lurkers and bots 👋 My name is Steve, but you can call me Kefin (with an “F”).
First day visiting the site, and I’ve learned 2 things—InfoRoo is legit, and context is everything. In a space that thrives on intertwining narratives and twisted crosstalk, I find myself less curious about the Info on the surface, and more drawn into the story behind the words, the story of infinitypass: I’m interested in understanding how infinitypass you first began growing your reputation as a reliable source amongst faceless strangers. Were there any obstacles along the path to the top, and what details don’t most people know who think they know your whole story? Did your insider-access to industry secrets grow evenly alongside your online presence or was it constantly at-odds with your career? Do you struggle between giving away too much and disappointing those that have come to rely upon you for answers? And what is the real story that led to the confusion surrounding 2020’s dropped headliner debacle? Was it a hacked account? A rare error? Or will the answer truly remain unknown?
Forum Staff— I know you’re just a bot who tirelessly welcomes new users to the community and may not comprehend desire, but if you’d ever like to take a break from your current purpose to join me in seeking knowledge, or to guide me where amongst the memes I might find my way, I’d be grateful.
FYI, the first link you sent me with the rules for the forum makes no sense, you might want to update it—I mean, I know we’re just lurker newbies who don’t know the slang yet, but what kind of rule is “Error 1001 - DNS register error”??

I’m interested in underwtsnding how infinitypass grew their reputation to the level of infallibility. Was it all a steady journey or were there obstacles along the way? How did the industry-insider access infinitypass now holds grow—equally alongside each other or constantly add odds with each other? Does infinitypass struggle with giving away too much or disappointing those that have come to rely upon them for info, and what really went on behind the boards that led to 2020’s dropped headliner misreporting? A hacked account? A rare mistake? Or is the answer truly still unknown? Finally, what has changed since then and what does it mean to those who still don’t understand?

Infinitypass grew their rep by being right for years in here on multiple threads.
The staff here is NOT bots tirelessly welcoming new users but here is the meme dump thread.
Oops broken link, thanks for the heads up will look into it.

Been lurking on here since about 2017, but finally decided to sack up and become a world-class Inforoo poster. Nice to finally meet everyone for real!
Name: Kevin
What my user name represents/means: It's the name I DJ and stream by. My buddy came up with it when we were 12 and thought it was tight af.
From: Ohio - live in Nashville now
Favorite Bands: Slipknot, Linkin Park, Skrillex, Manchester Orchestra, Tool, Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, Rufus Du Sol, Porter Robinson, Koreless, Above & Beyond, Four Tet, Skream
First Concert Attended: Weird Al Yankovic at King's Island in a year I was too young to really remember. First real show was probably AC/DC Black Ice tour.
Last Concert Attended: Manchester Orchestra @ Ryman Auditorium
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Favorite Bands: Manchester Orchestra, MMJ, Iron & Wine, Old Crow, Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker. My almost 2 year old daughter keeps me out of the loop and mostly into Daniel Tiger and Pete the Cat songs. Bonnaroo is my favorite and easiest way to find new artists each year.
