Roos: 2007
Wish list: I love the lineup, but I'd love it more if we got some more folksy girl singers and maybe some reggae?
Favorite Book: The Time Traveler's Wife. I've given away four beloved copies... its the gospel.
That is a great book. I'm not sure how I feel about the casting for the movie but the book was great.
I'm not thrilled about the casting either. Eric Bana works for me alright, though I had in mind more of a Jim Caviezel (sp?) or Daniel Day Lewis. I don't like Rachel McAdams as Clare because she's too famous. Its snotty of me, but I don't want the beautiful, special story turned into another cliche movie like The Notebook. But I have hope for the writer and director, based on their previous work. At least it will be entertaining, and then us TTW snobs can say loudly while leaving the theater, "It just doesn't even compare to the book."

I pictured Billy Cudrup and Amy Adams myself. I'm sure that they movie will be great and not nearly as good as the book!
I'd love to see him added to 'Roo. How was the show?
Colin puts on a good show! He has a great sense of humor and engages the audience throughout the performance. His wife is onstage with the band and sings back up vocals on a few songs. She also dances around rather wildly, which I found distracted from the rest of the show, but it wasn't bad. It would be great to see him at 'Roo!
