Ntell, I was believing you, but I think the accuser and the one being accused should be in the run-off, that will give us the best info on who stands where. Ntell, is this your first game? because the the more you talk, the more you look like Mafia. If you are the inspector, you have made a very poor decision in coming out early in round 1, this has killed your credibility. Just because people do not believe your story and I can see why they would not, but just because they are not listening to your words and voting for Bonzai, does not mean they are Mafia. I put you in the run-off to see where people would vote. I am 100% townie. No matter if you survive the run-off and Mafia do not vote you off, nobody will believe you come the next day. If you are Inspector you should have laid low and waited. There was no "heat" on you, you had no votes against you. I think that was your second post?
I know who I am voting for in the run-off, I just want to see where the others vote.

Your insistence to continually call me Mafia, is proving to me you are an idiot, because you are wrong, RDK on the other hand. Behind another he would be my #2 Mafia. bonzai, just curious, since you are a townie and all, who do you think the 3 mafia members are at this point?
I am a little confused as to why you are asking? You want to know who I am onto?? I am not sure if I should even respond. Beyond you, I have no real idea. There have been a few things that have made certain people a tad suspicious, but I am weary of speaking up against people whom I don't feel confident about when I am on the chopping block.
I drafted and saved my few suspicions, but I can't decide whether to post them right now.. so for now, I am not.

Ok, this has definitely been the craziest 1st day I've ever played in my short Mafia career span. This may be a little lengthy, but these are my thoughts and my take on what I think is at hand here.
Hands down Ntellier claiming Inspector in Day 1 is baffling. I'm almost positive this is his first time playing, but I could be wrong. So there are basically three ways that this can pan out:
1. Ntellier is the Inspector.
**This seems to me to be the most logical assumption of the three.
He either made a rookie mistake and spilled the beans in Day 1, or he thinks that this will somehow help the Townspeople out by not only giving up bonzai as his given Mafia member, but he also believes that the voting in Day 1 and any subsequent runoffs would point to who the other two Mafia are.
Now if Ntellier is Inspector, I would disagree with his choice of approach to the role. It was abrupt, he really had no pressure on him, and I think it was his second post in the game, in Day 1. But I also can't discredit the fact that this is his first time playing (I think). Maybe here we have the exact opposite situation as when Belgian (also first time playing) was Inspector and didn't know he could announce he was the Inspector until it was too late (Mafia 39).
Ntellier's play here is that as Inspector he gives up his known Mafia member, with hopes that the Townspeople will vote bonzai off in Day 1. If Ntellier is whacked in Night 1, it gives credit to his claim of being Inspector. He also becomes useless now because he's dead, and the other two Mafia will have to keep distance from each other in all future rounds.
If Ntellier survives Day 1 and and the Mafia decide to whack someone else and let Ntellier hang around, the Townspeople (myself included) will cry foul and kill Ntellier in Day 2. Because then he has "Mafia" written all over him . Ntellier will be dead no matter what before Night 2.
2. Ntellier is Mafia.
This to me does not make sense at all. Out of the 11 of us, Ntellier, maynardave, RDK, and flanzOmar are the first time players I believe. So while there is a small probability that we have 3 first time players as our 3 Mafia, my gut is telling me that at least one Mafia member is a returning player. This leads me to my argument for why it makes no sense for Ntellier to be Mafia and claim false Inspector status in Day 1, in his second post.
Mafia don't want to be "loud/seen" , ESPECIALLY in early rounds. Shit, I was Mafia my first game (Mafia 39), and other than my vote for any given Day, my ass was dead quiet until later rounds. So, assuming we have at least one Mafia member who is a returning player, there's no chance in Hell they would agree to or instruct Ntellier via PM to go out there and post in Day 1 that he is the Inspector.
That immediately puts Ntellier on everyone's radar, and that's the last place a Mafia, especially a first time Mafia, wants to be. So if Ntellier is Mafia, and he is voted off in Day 1, the Mafia are already down to two members, and the real Inspector is still out there. Think about that. Two Mafia left, they don't know if the Inspector got Ntellier's name or not, and they have to now face 7 Townspeople and an Inspector.
This more than anything is why Ntellier is logically not Mafia. Even if Ntellier isn't voted off in Day 1, he's dead by Day 2. Mafia have absolutely ZERO advantage by having Ntellier make this move. They are down 1 Mafia by Day 2 with the real Inspector most likely still alive, unless they get lucky and guess/vote the Inspector off in Night 1. 3. Ntellier is a Townsperson.
Ntellier, if you are a Townsperson and are claiming false Inspector status, you are doing the Townspeople a HUGE disservice. You wouldn't know that bonzai is Mafia in Day 1, and in turn could potentially cause 2 Townspeople to be dead by Day 2.

**Also I realize Ntellier did the same thing in essence by claiming the Mafia are bonzai, rdk, and Scrog. However Ntellier is also claiming to be Inspector and is either voted off in Day 1 or going into a runoff.

I've gotta call you out on this. I get why you list Ntellier, but why me and EAP??? Is it because EAP and I both brought up the fact that you edited out an entire post and found that suspicious? Its clearly not because of votes for you. Lets look at that, this is the most current vote count for Day 1:
I haven't voted for you, nor has Ntellier or EAP. In fact NOBODY has voted for you. I find it odd that if you are truly a Townsperson that in Day 1, without ANY vote pressure, you start making a list of who you think is Mafia. And in the same post you state you want to make this list before you're "whacked/voted off". You aren't in any danger of being killed dude. This smells of Mafia, not Townsperson.
On the topic of voting, I find it suspicious that your 3 Mafia candidates all currently have votes placed for bonzai. Mafia, especially on Day 1, and given the bomb that Ntellier dropped, are not all going to stack votes on the same person, let alone the person whom Ntellier is claiming Mafia. That would put all three of us in the hot seat in Day 1, not something Mafia would do. Because if Ntellier is Mafia, and not Inspector, that means the real Inspector would have either mine, EAP's, or Ntellier's name. We would NOT be voting for the same person right now if we were Mafia, given these circumstances.
Now if Ntellier is Inspector, and got bonzai's name, your edited post becomes even more suspicious.

1. Why do YOU think that myself, EAP, and Ntellier are Mafia and do you have any thoughts or evidence to back your reasoning?

Duddits I hear you. RDK is highly suspicious, his "Go Bonnie" drunk post got me when he posted it and now it is gone? and his very quick vote for Ntell, after I put Ntell into the run-off. Ntell is wrong about me. Who is the 3rd Mafia? I have some Ideas, but I will wait until the run-off starts.

On the drive to work, I started thinking which is usually a dangerous thing. I was thinking specifically about how good a patsy Bonzai would be. 1) She's played before, so she can't say that she did something out of ignorance (i.e. Flazo). P.S. I totally believe Flanzo about the vote stacking. 2) She said during the previous game that she is a terrible liar which would make someone presume that she would have a tough time defending herself. 3) She wasn't mafia before. 4) As far as I know, she hasn't ever had problems with anyone, so nobody can say that her name got put out there for revenge.

Well, I dug my own grave by posting too much. I obviously have little knowledge of how to play. I shouldn't have tried arguing with ntell but I truly believe he is mafia.
1. You guys all targeted me and my post to keep focus off of yourselves. Voted with each other to give ntell the possibility of a runoff.
2. I'm obviously not going to convince you otherwise but I am 100% townie with no experience in this game or know what I am doing. If I was mafia why would I tie myself to bonnie edited post or not? How else has she shown to be suspicious other than ntell immediately pointing the finger?
Furthermore, I will not be changing my vote to bonzai to distance myself. ntell is 100% mafia.
Follow up for rules reminder post. Have heard from some of our sr. players and should clarify...
We will update the page 1 rules after this game so all are written going forward If its agreed that the topic should be a rule. These are either formal rules or 'understood rules':
- when a player has been voted off or whacked, they may continue to post but not any content that might influnce the game - existing rule
- editing of posts is Not acceptible unless to correct a vote tally - this is an unwritten rule and as such can not be used to eject a person from this game (Mafia 42)
- no player dead or alive is to use the Like/Dislike buttons through out the game - this is an unwritten rule for players that are alive - you are asked not to use the like/dislike button while alive, but can not be ejected from this game while Alive for using this
Dead players may Not use the like/dislike button. This falls under the - you may not post anything to influnce the game post death.
Please observe these rules for the remainder of the game.
