Got 4 upper level for Tucson! second big show with sub par seats in a row, but I'm in!!! Taking a friend who's a longtime Tool fan who's never had a chance to see em. I can't wait.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
There are very few bands out there that can sell out an arena in a day and I'm not so sure Tool is one of them. I can pretty much guarantee the Tucson date won't sellout until much closer if at all.
Last time they played TCC they sold it out. Not sure how fast, but they did sell it out. Just sayin.
Well Ticketbasterd threw me in the waiting for a few min and then gave me crappy 200 level seats so maybe more people are buying than i thought.
Nah I'm not a huge fan and I can't really justify 60$ to see them. I'm pretty low on funds and need to pay for DC and ROo this summer and start saving for Glasto.

Just throwin this out there- I've taken to collecting promotional concert posters- I normally am able to get them from my local indie record store after a show takes place, and sometimes I steal them from pizza places or venues. Or when a band sells custom posters for that particular city on a tour, I buy it
What I'm getting at is- if there's anyone out there in GA who sees a legit print for a Tool promo poster for their GA show at Gwinnet Center, I'd be willing to throw you like $30 to send it to me.
Very strange, I guess I got really lucky. I picked up the extra 2 for friends who may decide not to go.... I'll post in a few weeks if they back out. I'm not too concerned about making a bunch of money off them or anything.
For the Toledo show?
Yup, I won't know until a week or two prior to the show.... it will depend on whether he can get off work or not.

i just snagged tickets for the east rutherford date! i got tickets in the 3rd row of the 200 section looking directly at the stage. i'm kinda stressed about it though, i have class the next day at 8 am and it's 2 hours from my school. for those of you who have seen tool, is it worth it?

Is it worth it? OH HELL YES!!!
The first time I saw TOOL, I drove 7 hrs by myself to get there. Yeah, you'll be tired the next day, but after the show you will be sooooo energized you won't need caffeine to drive 2hrs home. Trust me, you'll be blown away!
