Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Well, I do not know a single one of you, but you let me ramble on about nothing on a consistent basis without judging me (openly).
It's funny, I literally came here last year because I did a Google search for "Bonnaroo insider information", and Inforoo was the top 5 or so sites that showed up (all Insider posts, btw). Never had any intention on staying, but lo and behold here I am.
I guess it's just refreshing to talk about music with folks who have similar tastes as I do, or at the very least are people whose musical tastes I now trust. I've discovered more than a few bands on here thanks to a lot of you (especially the Now Playing Dos thread - GL & Zapp most of all), while my friends in real life are trying to force feed me Mac Miller and Nicki Minaj on a regular basis.
(Insert comment about me needing new friends)
So, in summary, thanks for helping me keep my sanity.
I just hope you're all ready for the hurricane of party that will be me at Roo '12.
I've met some of the most amazing people from Inforoo. My RL friends thought I was kinda crazy meeting internet people at first, but now they just refer to Inforoosters as my "board friends" because they know how much these folks mean to me.
I'm not sure where I would be today without TheDruid, dreamingtree, or Mayo. Those three ladies have rocked my world!!

Awww ditto J Really, as was shown this weekend at my house, my Inforoo friends have become some of my closest "real life" friends also. I do love all of you guys!
Srsly, I heart y'all more than my own damn family. My colleagues think I'm crazy for driving several hours on a week night to see a show - but it's worth it because I'm having a mini family reunion every time.
Y'all are some crazy mofos...and I'm lucky to have become friends IRL with so many of you. In the last 2yrs, I've shared a show or a drink or a hug with almost everyone in this thread (and most of the regulars on this board) and those are some of my happiest memories! Thanks for starting this thread, Bonnie!
(especially the Now Playing Dos thread - GL & Zapp most of all)
Word. If I am ever in need of something to listen to, I usually just search for whatever is recent on that thread. I am seldom disappointed.
Aww this warms my heart. I have gotten so many amazing recommendations from Inforoo. It has truly shaped my musical tastes over the few years I have been here. I hope to continue to not let you down!
I agree. There are a lot of good people on here and many, many more great ones! In April 2010, I was redirected from the Bonnaroo website to here. I was looking for some tips on camping conditions and 'What are the best shoes to wear at Bonnaroo?', what I got has been a life changing experience and more.

I got here in '09 before my first Roo. I was directed here by a co-worker/former poster (Tyler Durden) who said that this was the website for getting prep information and some good conversation. That proved true and then some. This is the first year that I have really stuck around in the off-season, and I'm glad I did. Freefest and Moogfest were definitely better having Inforoo people around.
Because of my Inforoo friends, I have sent Christmas cards to several states this year. ^_^ hehe. LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys (especially TN and MN people- no offense to others, though!, these are just my closest peeps) Met my awesome BF at Bonnaroo through PopsicleSarah's TO camping recomm endation with Roo Crew X (we were ~15 yards from camp Inforoo). We always have a ball when we have get togethers, whether in homes or at shows. Y'all are the best and out of towners need to make it to Tennessee more often! <3
I didn't even see this thread until right now. Whats there to say about the Inforoo community that hasn't already been said in the thread? This site has an AMAZING community of people, it truly does. We don't always agree or get along, but where would be the fun in that? I can honestly say that y'all mean alot to me, even though I've only met a few of you in person.
I hope to meet many, many more members at Brunch and in Camp Inforoo this coming year (I also plan on hitting All Good and Moog too). I was at brunch last year, but stayed under the radar for most of the time. Hell I even talked to Scrog for a few minutes and didn't even realize it was him at the time.
I came to this site initially because of Bonnaroo (and not wanting to lurk anymore and actually participate), and now I log in daily to interact with all of the awesome people here. So quack yeah, I have alot of <3 for Inforoo.
So glad that this thread took off. When I posted it I thought, "Oh damn, I should have posted this in the Drunken Thoughts thread!!" This thread is a great mood booster. Makes me happy EVERY time that I check in!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Agreed!! When I'm having a rough day - which has been more than usual this year, I always come here to get cheered up It also helps to remember how many really great people I know that care about me and vice versa.

I am the same way. Except I don't usually say anything. I am a professional lurker.
I 100% agree about this being a rough year, even if our reasons were different. Gah.
Two really bright spots were Inforoo and Bonnaroo, of course, plus Camp Infogood. And Quack Club, and meeting up with LD, abra and maynardave at Virgin. Haha that's more than two.
I hope to have really good news this week, but don't want to jinx it by talking about it. Everyone will know if it happens, trust me. :-)

Been a rough year fer me as well, but I also come here fer the good cheer inforoo supplies. After my all too brief appearance at this last brunch, I'm very much lookin' forward to bein' there longer this time around!

This board is amazing. Even if I were to never go to bonnaroo again I don't think I'd stop visiting these boards. It's become a staple of my internet procrastination. And it's my biggest outlet for speaking about music- I have very few friends with good taste in music, and none with the entire range of genres i listen to.
I haven't met many of you, besides Scrog and Kenny powers, but hopefully I'll make it to Roo this year and make it to the brunch

Well said. This is where I am at. I realized a few days ago that when I get home this place will be deadsville. I'll be back on the day that everyone is leaving for Roo.

If I'm at Camp LD again, I'll have to rub it in. I swear I was one of the few people floating around here last Roo.
