Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This page has some good names on it and the email addresses right there. I can't double up on emailing the same agent so you guys should pick through here. I've emailed about Yo La Tengo and Cat Power.

Sent some e-mails out to the booking agents for some big names today: Bon Iver, Beach Boys, and The Shins. Will keep everyone posted if I hear anything back, anything at all.
I also sent an e-mail to FlyLo's booking agent asking specifically about Bonnaroo.
I too have emails out to Bon Iver, Shins, and Mountain Goats. Hopefully we'll have power in numbers where at least one of us gets a response.
I'm in a drug study right now where I just get to chill out so that's why I have hours to devote to sending out emails. Have been going through my ipod alphabetically and emailing every name that interests me. Hoping to get a nice load of responses come Monday.
Just e-mailed !!! and Mayer Hawtorne. Let's see what they say...
!!! deserves a late night after their phenomenal set last year. Same goes for Robyn. That said, I don't think either will be back this year
But rest assured, if and when !!! does a Roo late night, it will be one of the most energetic shows of the weekend.
I saw them on a whim... my god I have never had more fun at a show. I agree; they deserve a late night spot, because it would be straight up phenomenal.
Post the emails and I'll possibly see what I can do. Look for general manager and booking agent contact info. Also, I have sent emails to a ton more bands than I've even mentioned already so it's possible I've contacted some people you want. I'm mostly aiming for mid-range or so acts. Having trouble finding info for a lot of bigger artists like Florence and The Roots. Did manage to email about Adele though haha.
It should be noted they're touring with The Darkness, but not sure for how long. Don't know what that implies about The Darkness playing, but I've emailed them also.
Would ya'll beat me senseless if i asked if anyone has checked on Brandi Carlisle? Have seen her a few times including roo 2010 - left for a bigger act on a stage and regretted it. Thought she rocked it at Coach last year. I know not for everyone but would like to know...

Real Estate are confirmed out. I've now emailed about Childish, Weird Al, Tune Yards, and The Avetts. The other names I don't know so won't contact, but feel free to use the format I've been going with today. Make sure to change relevant details, and personalize something about the band if you can:
Heya,
I'm trying to decide between going to Sasquatch and Bonnaroo this year, as my wife and I can only afford one. Weird Al playing would clinch the decision for me, as we had to miss him the last time he was here due to a cute little newborn. I think it was worth missing the show for though haha. We've been listening to his appearances on Comedy Bang Bang and even rented his children's book from the library, but it just isn't the same! So I'm wondering if you have any info as to whether he's playing either of those festivals or not. I'd appreciate a reply either way. Thank you so much!
Cheers,
Nolan
Another example: Heya,
I'm trying to decide between going to Sasquatch and Bonnaroo this year, as my wife and I can only afford one. Merrill playing would clinch the decision for me, as we saw her last year at Outside Lands and have been feeling the urge to paint our faces ever since. She literally made the crowd explode with energy! So I'm wondering if you have any info as to whether they'll be playing either of those festivals or not. I'd appreciate a reply either way. Thank you so much!
I managed to wiggle my way out of him being onto my case. It is confirmed that none of the bands this guy represents will be at Roo. He mentioned Designer Drugs specifically.
I don't know if that means all the bands that his agency represents though. Here's their webpage which has a listing of all their acts. Again, I don't know if this rules out everyone on that page or just people he specifically represents from that roster: deckstar.com/
AUTOEROTIQUE bLINK-182 CLASSIXX COLD CAVE CSS DEPRESSED BUTTONS DESIGNER DRUGS DJ AM DJ BL3ND DJ JAZZY JEFF ELI ESCOBAR FISCHERSPOONER GINA TURNER HOLY GHOST! INFECTED MUSHROOM JOACHIM GARRAUD JOKERS OF THE SCENE KID SISTER KISSY SELL OUT MORSE CODE PANTyRAiD PASE ROCK RAC RANCID RIFOKI STEVE AOKI SUPER MASH BROS THE ALBUM LEAF THE COBRASNAKE THE FAINT THE GLITCH MOB THEM JEANS TONY MARTINEZ TRANSPLANTS TRAVIS BARKER
Jesus, they still have DJ AM listed. That'd be a pretty boring set at this year's Roo.
My feelings on this: The person just might not know, but he's a CAA agent so I'd think he would. Could be they're playing one of the fests and he doesn't want to say. Could be that as far as he knows they haven't been contacted. Could be they're in negotiations. Who knows. Really no info came from that, but I emailed two different people about The Darkness so maybe the other will reply with a better response.
I just realized you guys shouldn't use my exact format. If the same agents see the same stories it will kill our chances of finding out stuff. If you're going to email someone just use a similar personal approach. Don't just flat out ask if someone is playing, personalize it in a way that makes it seem more like an innocent query.
I feel as though this topic has gotten out of hand. Isn't part of the fun, not knowing? I mean this is all cool information, but at the same time, I enjoy the wait for the lineup.

I agree to a point, but it's not as if you or anyone have to check it. I know temptation is hard though haha. This is what this thread was designed for. I find it exciting to find these things out.
Actually, this is 90% of what we do on this part of the board. Speculate and guess as to who will be there. I think it's great we have this. It's the logical end to what we all started.

I know, I totally get that. And I have contributed my fair share to these types of topics. I was speaking to myself as much or more than anyone else.
It is exciting though, I'm just ready for Bonnaroo to tell me who I have already paid to see!
Same here. Very antsy. I'm excited to see who's on there, and even more excited to start exploring to find new favorites from the lineup that I have no clue about.
