I just got an email myself. This one came from Craig in Cloud Cult:
6:46 PM (4 minutes ago) HI Brandee, Thanks for the kind email. I haven't heard yet if we'll be on the Bonnaroo bill. We're up for it, but it's up to them. Glad to hear you made it out to the Chicago shows. We'll likely be rolling through there again in the next few months. Thanks again,

FWIW, Matt & Kim (who I don't see under "denied" yet) posted this on their facebook page on 1/26: "2011 is over and it was one hell of a year! I want to thank everyone who came to a show, got sweaty with us, purchased a song, raged to a song, spread our music to their friends…. Basically I want to thank anyone who had our back this year and to let you all know we really appreciated it! I am sad that we won’t be doing shows for the next 6 months but I am really excited that we are working on a new album! Can’t wait for you all to hear it and to see you back out on the road at the end of summer! Big hugs, Kim"
So Maynard James Keenan did an interview for the Nashville scene. He was asked if any of his bands, Tool, A Perfect Circle or Pusicfer would be at Roo... He said Pusifer was offered a spot, but declined because they didnt want to play on the same tent as Danzig and Alice Cooper.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

Modeselektor is out:
hi nolan,
unfortunately they are not playing either one - we confirmed the coachella festivals and will do some shows in between (where do you live?) the next tour is in autumn then.

I could see it. They're damn good live. I just wonder how AC picks up on these tiny acts who have yet to release an album. I mean I only know of them because I live in Minneapolis and our NPR music station plays tons of local music. But I don;t know how the word about them would get outside MN, or to the people at AC when they're looking at who to book. Ironically their album release is the same day as the Roo announcement (if we're correct its the 14th)
Edit: I'm actually curious how you know about them, because I really thought the station was driving 100% the hype around them. Not that they're not good.
