Ugh so does anyone know when Vegas releases the results?
I've been looking too... seems it might be awhile.
In the mean time... I have a question. This isn't related to the contest per se, but what we learned in the earlier rounds.
Let's say we're at Bonnaroo and we want to check the color of our urine (haha I know right?). How exactly would we go about that? Is there any other way to check how dehydrated we might be or might be getting?
gonna have to say, I did not hear a "thank you", until he thanked JD for the keys to his new vet. Will work on totals, would help if you want to send me your score. ;D Veags will be the official ruler on all questions. Great Game! That was fun! Thanks to all who participated.
Anybody want to help Popsicle out with that answer?

Urine sticks to determine specific gravity, ha! The other signs and and symptoms; poor skin turgor, sunken eyes, low/no urine output, cracked lips and such.

One other method is to pinch the skin on the palm of you hand for 5 seconds. If when you let go it snaps back right away that indicates you are hydrated. If it slowly moves back into place you are likely dehydrated. Its not perfect but it can help

Thanks for putting it on. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a Super Bowl more. I think it was good cardio too.

I only caught the second 1/2 but I've never been more interested in a football game than this one. I mailed in my stuff for the Bonnaroo book and was totally involved in the game because of it. Good times even if I don't win!
great game, great contest.. tons of fun. To get back briefly to the learning part of it.. without TMI - get in the habit of being aware of the color (not the Gatorade) way before roo. Umm.. the quantity, quality, and color of the output tells you how good or bad you are doing with the input. Much like the old puter data saying... garbage in, garbage out. The 20lbs i mentioned losing.... without a lick of 'real' exercise... all by learning to pay attention to the above, and how i felt after what i consumed. If i felt fat, full, burpie etc.. bye bye- off the input list.
Anywhoo... to try to answer that question without tmi... if you are using portos.. bring a few dixie cups for the morning outing. If ya'll have ever had a check up you know the how too's..

DONT forget the Salt and electrolytes.
Dixie cups is a good idea. I'm not too proud. Ima do it.
dixie cup trick is a good one! might be useful as well in the late afternoon after a day in the sun, to monitor your status prior to going into the night-time shenanigans.
And...as much of a pain as it is going to the portos...if you're NOT needing to go during the day (for #1)...that's not a good thing.

Good idea zen! I'm going to vow to check in the morning, afternoon, and before late night activities.
Should we bring dixie cups to pass out at brunch? I'm kind of kidding, but not really

If we can get one person to check... just one person that realizes they are getting dehydrated and they do something about it... well that makes it worth it, right?
Almost 3 years ago now i got quite ill - call the rescue ill, 5 days in er/icu/inpatient ill/ wtf is happening/4 weeks of recovery ill. Little guidance at discharge except give up the vices (bevies and ciggies). Did tons of research etc etc... Thanks 90% to scrog's tmi about colors, dehydration, 5 % to a House episode that suggested to um watch the 'other output' and 5% to learning to pay attention...
Turned it all around for me. My plague turned out to be ground meat/fats.. and despite all the water - not enough of the other important factors. Was dehydrated all of the time despite all of the water intake. Now its 90% paying attention and 5/5 Scrog/House learning. Thank you B!
Many many thanks to Lono for sponsoring this ticket and to the Qsaroo-er that pulled this together!!
