Faithfull? I haven't seen it. Never saw Bitches Brew or Hellhound on My Ale, either. Probably too far north for those to matriculate my way.
Man, you must be from the south also saddened by the lack of Dogfish Head down here. I REALLY wanted that Bitches Brew. There was supposed to be a tasting of it at a local convenience store last winter but somehow the keg never showed up. Not surprised.
In the meantime, I am a big fan of Southern Star. Bombshell Blonde is my go to Roo brew. Buried Hatchet is also wonderful for a stout, not to mention in a can. I just can't justify bringing it into 100 degree weather out of fear of projectile vomit.
No no, you misunderstand. I'm too far north. I'm on the North Shore of Massachusetts. We get tons of Dogfish Head, but I've never seen any of their limiteds.

Haha, it's the exact same in Texas. I'm surprised to hear it's the same where you are. I mean, being that much closer and everything.
No, just a blogger - usually music or running (or both). Sometimes short fiction. This is my first real attempt at recapping a TV show. I'm mostly doing it to keep myself sharp between semesters.
I'd dig writing for The AV Club, though.
Gotcha. I did news for CoS and NPR for awhile, but now that school is back in session I'm just writing a bunch of nothing. AV Club would be the best. What's your blog?
Good slate of college hoops tonight, Wisconsin/Purdue and Clemson/Boston College both start soon. My car is being used right now so I can't hit the liquor store, but I have a bottle of Andre champagne and some hawaiian punch that I'm thinking about mixing together. Anyone ever tried that? I also have some ginger ale, i just hate drinking champagne by itself.
Here's some early Genesis (Peter Gabriel vocals) for some sanity. It's a nice long track to get lost in. One of my favorite songs of all time, it's got several different themes and directions. Give it a whirl, it starts off kinda slow and melodic, then gets pretty cranked eventually, about 4:40.
Peter Gabriel said performing the peak of the song live was otherworldly. From the album Foxtrot, this is Supper's Ready.
I saw Los Campesinos! this evening, and they were fucking magnificent. I can't imagine them ever ending up at the farm, but they would wreck if they did.
I need to cross the border soon so I can get me some Dogfish Head again. They cut back their distribution a year ago due to overwhelming demand, and cut ties to Canada (and several states) for the time being.
I am really getting sick of people trying to make RHCP fit in every single clue... all of these attempts make me assume it's invalid, even if it fits perfectly.
