????? There is no way they will do a reprise before other songs, that has literally only happened once in special circumstances. (Blown encore the night before, opened with it the next day).
This is probably the best bit of live music I've ever seen. Love Trey's trill/hammer/whatever that is at 3:10...gorgeous.
Thanks SO much for sharing this. Gave me chills. I was working yesterday and the Round Room "Waves" came up on my desktop--I so love the rough feel of such a tremendous song, and wondered...could it ever be the opener?
Nah. PYITE is my call (and also a favorite), but a guy can dream.
Seven below, peeps. We'll be two songs into the first set, Central Daylight Time! After what will have already been the Best. Roo. Ever.
I don't know if my mind will be able to handle a 2001 opener after the first 3.5 days of Roo. I'm honestly not expecting a lot from this show, just so if/WHEN they set the farm on fire, I'll be even more pumped!
As for predictions, I'm going to cheat and wait until I see the Worcester sets to start wishing.
Question for this group: Page-side pit...Who's IN!? After some internal struggle, I've decided to skip The Shins to get dinner after Ben Folds and hop in line for Phish.

i would like to get in line for the Phish pit, but there will be a lot of factors affecting my decision. by sunday I might just be laying in the back of the what field like a slug. furthermore it depends on what demand is like. I won't stand in line all day.

I hear you. I figure, worst case, Bon Iver will help me catch a nap in the line!

See you atop The Hill.
The whole second set+encore is worth listening to in its entirety...however the waves>undermind literally melted my face off. Page doing ethereal sounds on the theremin at the end of undermind was awesome, and the steam>fire was pretty cool as well.
40 min encore...basically a mini set... Camel Walk, Guyute, The Horse> Silent, with Trey calling an audible to Hood to cap it off. Awesome...hopefully they give us something like that...but better.

The crowd tonight made me appreciate Bonnaroo so much more. I've never experienced a concert where the crowd was like a social affair. Was I the only one to experience this? Oh yeah I saw about 3 glow sticks fly in the air. That's it.
What a great set. One of the best I've seen Reminds me of their early days. 2001 to Chalkdust Torture was amazing. The sea of glow sticks blew my mind. Harry hood to light was great as well. I got to dance with Jesus for a while. Jesus was fucked up too
