^The Gillian Welch show at the Ryman had a ridiculous line for that night's show poster (which was way more awesome than the tour poster BTW). I am prepared to not even bother with trying to snatch one up tomorrow night.
On a related note, if anyone is headed to the Ryman shows, Third Man Records is having a tailgate party and merch sale from 3 - 7 both nights.
I am will be in Nashville early tomorrow PM me and I will send you my phone number if you want to hang out during the tail gate or before the show. Maybe we can get a group together and go to The Ryman before the show. Maybe we can pester Jack if the opportunity arises to play Bonnaroo or at least remember us for next year. I will do Ashley Capps job for him at no additional charge!

Does anybody know if Jack usually has show posters or not? Trying to figure out if I should bring my tube with me.
You bet. Fair warning though -- the Jack merch scene is as competitive a merch scene as there is. Get there early!
Meh I will be there bright eyed and bushy tailed on the early tip. I plan on eating breakfast in line waiting for Third man to open. Maybe I will get lucky and catch him putting the keys in the door or something. Then I can do some other stuff like go see the Georgia O' Keefe paintings at Fisk University. I watch Breaking Bad and said something about it to my girl and she said "she paints vaginas" so maybe that is a good choice

Scored a hatch! Plus a tour-only vinyl and a sweet Alabama Shakes shirt. I'm a happy boy.
Picture?
Who says you can't take photos at a Jack White show? Pffffff that wont stop me! Sneaky sneaky! Last nights show was awesome! But a little short. During the last song he knocked over about half his drumset and came flying towards us almost falling over. Shattered a glass he had sitting on his speaker.
The vinyl is at home and I don't have a picture of it with me but Phi posted the hatch. The vinyl is a 7" of Love is Blindness and Sixteen Saltines. I'll post a picture of the artwork when I get home tonight
EDIT: Sorry guys, I accidentally typed Love Interruption. It's Love is Blindness.

Fuck, he played You're Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl)? Besides whatever singles were released through the years, De Stijl is the first full album I ever heard from The Stripes and I fell in love with that song immediately.
Black Math too would be pretty incredible to hear.

Just in time for my show on Monday:
Third Man Records is proud to announce that Jack White has again decided to take on the tremendous challenge of getting into the Guinness Book of World Records.
During the rest of the performances on his current tour supporting his new album “Blunderbuss” (which incidentally is currently in the running for the world record of “the fastest named album in history” *pending), Jack White will every night on stage attempt to break the world record for most metaphors in a single concert.
The attempt may prove very exhausting and at times even dangerous, but the results could prove to be glorious and possibly even vainglorious. We are certain that the extremely scientific and intricate analysis of the metaphors that occur will be examined in accordance with Guinness’ usually very thorough methods probably, or at the very least if somebody answers the phone at the pub.
Third Man Records encourages all attendees of said concerts to please not interfere or interject with any metaphors that they witness occur during the show as to not disqualify or worse yet, trivialize the metaphor in question. In addition all concert attendees are encouraged to entice as many metaphors to occur during the show that they possibly can as long as they don’t endanger themselves or Mr. White.
Let’s all help to make history folks! Thank you and we’ll see you in the record books!

Show was amazing last night. Alabama Shakes killed it and JW was fantastic. Ball and biscuit, we are going to be friends, cut like a buffalo and the new stuff sounded great live! Before the encore the crowd started chanting/humming the seven nation army intro and the band comes back out and they were all just grinning.
