Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
At least we have learned a valuable lesson in that we can never just safely assume that any band will automatically get a late night.
I was cool with Skrillex being the first EDM which stage act but I'm not cool with SBTRKT being the first (?) non late night EDM act theyve ever had (lunar stage/arcade not included)
The Sbtrkt show during the day at SXSW was great. Just get close enough to see how busy he is and you'll have a blast!
oh, and BTW- Sbtrkt is a HE, not a THEY. not a band, but a DJ. yes, I know, Sampha is with him this time around, but I just had to say something. Sorry, it was killing me.

I was excited for this show, but there are two other acts I want to see, and I'm not sure if I want my first viewing of him to be a day show, may wait until next year for him to return to the closest club.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
I mean, it has it's pros and cons, it just has the potential to be such a gnarly late night. I'm so pumped for the incredible run of sets this show is a part of.

to be honest, ive slowly come around to the idea that this will be an awesome show during the day, and im not sure i would even want it moved to the ln
on principle, sbtrkt should get unchained's slot- that is just obvious to me- but the way it stands i get to see battles-sbtrkt-mogwai during the day and superjam-gza at night. and thats a damn good day/night of music right there
battles-sbtrkt-mogwai in a row in one tent is going to be unbelievable, being up front for that 3 show stretch is perhaps what im most excited for this year (other than radiohead and flylo, duh). so yeah, i think id rather have things stay the way they are than see sbtrkt moved to be conflicting with gza
It's like, if I hand you a sandwich and am all "hey man, have a bit of this delicious ham sandwich," and then you take a bite and hand it back and are all "I'm disappointed, I was hoping for a turkey sandwich," you'd be insane

I still feel like it's a major snub, putting two (three? unfamiliar with Mogwai) light shows on in daylight to make room for Unchained and Pedrito Martinez. But I'm not much of a GZA fan (I'll dig deeper into his catalogue), so I can see how fewer conflicts is good for y'all. I'll be wishing for a surprise small set

I'm actually excited its not a night show. What a quacking mid-day treat!!!
Really, dude?
Really. It's a nice change of pace in my opinion. Plus Das Racist - Battles - SBTRKT - Mogwai will probably be my favorite block of music all weekend. I'm not gonna miss a minute of that.

Just grabbed the LP today... I'm most certainly bummed I won't be dancing my ass off to this at 3 in the morning, but if I can jam this hard in my living room at 7pm on a Sunday, perhaps I'll be ok at 5:30 on the Saturday of Bonnaroo. Super psyched I grabbed this album, 14 bucks for the vinyl and digi download. Hells yeah.

I am actually starting to come around to this sentiment. Once I got over SBTRKT not having a late night set I got really excited for Das Racist>Battles>SBTRKT. I just can't stay mad about that.
Saw him Saturday night at DEMF. He didn't have Sampha with him which was kind of disappointing, and overall the show seemed lacking. I'm a big fan of his recorded material, but something about it just didn't click for me in a live setting. I'll definitely stop by his set at Bonnaroo and give him another chance though.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
