I RSVP'd a few pages back, but things get buried in here pretty quickly. I'm not sure what I'll be bringing as of yet, but something tasty and a few bags of ice will accompany me to meet you all :-)

so last year i failed at life and didnt make it to the brunch bc i couldnt get my lazy butt up in the heat. im so sad but i want to make it this year. but just incase.....say i didnt make it at 10...how long does the brunch usually go on?
Brunch is gonna be one great fest, inside another great fest. Looking forward to it. I will be one to say, I am not bringing anything to brunch, except my appetite and maybe a bag of ice, but I am planning to eat your food. ;D A big Thank You to all who are making delicious tasty nom noms for us on Friday. ;D
With that said, I am now going to be "that guy", this is my C.I.S.A. I have camped in large group camping before and the thing I hate most is when people do not pick up after themselves. I will admit, right now, my room is a mess, but it is my mess, not yours and that is how I feel in community shared spaces. I do not want to see your mess, so I know you do not want to see mine. I might have a messy room right now, but my community area I like clean. I am not camping at camp Inforoo, but I am saying this because if I was staying there, I would want someone to say this. If you bring food to Brunch, please remember your dish is your responsibility! Please do not bring food and expect it to be eaten. If people are full or if for some reason you dish was not eaten, do not expect that it will be eaten after you leave. Either auction it off or take it with you. I am not trying to sound like an asshole, but sometimes in large gatherings there are leftovers and camp Inforoo should not be responsible for disposing of those leftovers. They should not have to clean up our mess. I know what your thinking, "oh, someone will eat it later. and everyone loves ceviche, right." and that might be true, but in reality, if it was not eaten at brunch, it will probably not be eaten after brunch.
If you plan on bringing a gift to brunch, it is your responsibility to make sure that your gift is consumed and not left for someone else to dispose of later.
Again, to the ones making tasty treats, Thank you! I will do my best so you do not have anything to clean up, but honesty, to me, ceviche is no good.

I'll probably just bring a bottle of liquor. I hope that's acceptable...
Also, how will I find camp Inforoo? I know it's in the tent camping area, but we won't know exactly where until we get there... ? I guess I have an iPhone so I could get on the boards Friday morning and find out, if I knew where to go.

That's a good point Scrog. Sunday morning last year we had an entire table full of leftovers to dispose of. Not a huge deal, but it was kind of gross after a couple days in the sun... lol.

It's been on Friday as long as I've said I was gonna make it but didn't (so 2008), and it really was on Friday last year as I was finally there! 10am till sometime!

Look fer the Inforoo flag, which is a rooster. Or shout out "Corncat!" as loud as you can and listen fer the "Omnomnom." Or use that new smartphone technology.

This is how Airline caught my attention at the Jack White show! I was walking by and heard, ever so sneakily, "Corncat." I was like, THERE's a Rooster. It totally works!! ;D

I agree with Scrog however .... There has got to be a little more room for brunch. Quacker and I plan on being in TN wed night and have said we will bring an extra ez up for the weekend for the brunch area.
Part of the reason for leftovers is unless you are there early, based on last year, you can not get to the food/drink space, or set down new contributions. More space under ez ups pleassssee. Let us know what we can do to help this happen.
Looking forward to seeing all you Roosters at the Brunch again this year. I'll be volunteering along with Ellie/ZacD this year, I'll be sure to bring some more Star Hill brews.

Great news! I'm bringing Boddington's this year. Make sure I get to you.

Camp inforoo is going to be between 75 and 100 people this year. I am open to any suggestions.
I always have a foldy picnic table thing with me that I never really use much, so I have no problem volunteering extra (and somewhat modest) table space and I might be able to fit an extra shade tent in the car if I go solo. I'll definitely keep you posted.
