True...last year the group wasn't visible from the walking path. But this year, we'll have over 150ppl, so a group of that size in Tent Only SHOULD be relatively easy to find.
Who's got a very, very tall flagpole upon which we can attach an inflatable rainbow unicorn? That'll make it easier to find! ;D
We would have never found it last year, however I play wayy to many HOG/adventure games. From afar i saw t-shaped flag pole with a rooster on one side and a baby pic missing from the other side.
Bunny- great that you're still doing this- hope I can find you this year. Will bring mardi gras beads and boiled eggs/soy sauce and fortune cookies Ivy

i have both inflatable unicorns AND a tall pole, a windsurfing board mast that I use as our flag pole
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Hey Ivy! We met at Shpongle last year, remember? Glad that you are coming back! Kim
I saw this on Food Network this week and they look AMAZING. I would consider making them except I'm not sure how I would transport an assload of cupcakes from Atlanta and keep them looking like cupcakes until Friday morning...lol.
Maybe I can figure out how to tweak the recipe or the concept a little to make them into bars or something. I'll get back to y'all with that one. Otherwise no clue what I'm bringing. Everyone seemed to enjoy my jerk wings a couple weeks ago, but there are some logistics issues there as well.
No worries, my sweets. Mama Zen will come up with something luscious.
not really sure how to RSVP for this, but as long as i can find it im in! first roo, first roo brunch. CANT QUACKIN' WAIT! slowly counting the minutes till it starts.
To anyone considering coming but not sure if they should do it: DO IT NO MATTER WHAT! We went to Roo in 2008 and 2009 and missed brunch and hanging out with Camp Inforoo but our experience at Roo was 10x better last year being involved with Camp Inforoo. It's truly a can't miss experience.

was brunch fun last year? all i remember after heading to matts tree is a fuzzy combo of kazoos bacon apple pie and jameo. and at some point there was alot less people but still a ton of apple pie and jameo. nevermind i just answered my own question.
Reading through the thread I get the impression that I should just bring some beer. But I'm failing to understand how there is EXTRA food...where does it all come from? And how do y'all consume so much alcohol in the hot sun and still enjoy the night?
also going to bring some Hoosier Mama Bloody Mary's- touted as some of the best bloody mary mix by those who know- and will mix with the best vodka I can find that's not in a glass bottle. (any suggestions?)

I'm not sure if I will even be attending, but last Summer I got on a cocktail kick (still on it in fact, now where did I put my lowball?) and bought just about every top shelf vodka sold here, and the winner of the blind taste tests I put my friends through? Tito's
I would buy Tito's and put it in any 1/2 gal. plastic jug you've washed thoroughly.

I was fine during the night but most of the day was a blur
Get some good vodka and put it in a plastic bottle.
But please, PLEEEEEASE...for the love of Corncat, PLEASE label yo liquids!!! Why?
Because it's possible that you might come home with one of those bottles which might appear under your seat or in your trunk.
Because it's possible that on a hot June day when you're unpacking the car, you see that clear bottle of "VITAMIN WATER" in some yummy flavor (probably Dragonfruit) and because you are sooooo thirsty, you start to chug it, exactly 1.3 seconds before your brain has a 150-watt epiphany & reverses the chugging process...all over your trunk and the contents therein.
Not that I ever did this....no, I'm just imagining the possibilities. Yeah, that's it.
