Significant others. I'm half-joking, half not; I know it holds some truth for me tbh. I think a lot of us got involved in relationships or work stuff or life events, so the visits of individuals became more sparse, which naturally led to much fewer nights when there would be a big group of us, which is one of the things I enjoyed the most. There were less people in there less often, and it eventually petered out.
