I hope it is just the announcement of when they are going back on sale, I can't keep doin this check the website every ten minutes thing all day and I would probably miss the sale if they did it that way. If they just announce it, we can plan ahead..

Been away from my computer fro 3 days. The thought of anyone that cares about Bonnaroo enough to regularly visit this board, not getting tickets, simply because of some ticket failure, is sad. Hope whatever the problem is figured out soon.
I got my tickets on saturday right before the site got shut down. The money is out of my account, and I've received a conformation e-mail. I just now got an e-mail telling me that my order was cut short, and there will be a private sale for people who tried to buy tickets on the first day and weren't able to. The private sale tickets will be at the level four price as well. All that being said, I really hope I don't have to buy my tickets again, but I'm thinking it's just because I made multiple attempts to purchase tickets.
just got an email from bonnaroo regarding how my order wasn't complete and that i have chance to purchase the ticket again before the sale resumes on saturday
There wouldn't be a Bonnaroo if it wasn't for Music Today. ZERO chance they switch.

Care to educate us?
Bonnaroo has always been financially backed by Coran Capshaw, other than managing artists such as DMB and Phish he also started a little company called music today, so it will be unlikely they change ticket vendors anytime soon.

Dear Bonnaroo Fan,
Thank you for attempting to purchase your tickets this past Saturday for the 2012 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
Due to the serious technical problems experienced by our ticketing system, your order was caught short in the processing cycle. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we wish to give you the opportunity to purchase your tickets before the new Bonnaroo on-sale is launched this coming Saturday. We have increased the allotment of Price Level 4 tickets in order to accommodate your purchase at that price level. In the next 24 to 48 hours you will receive an access code that will allow you to purchase 2 (two) tickets at the Price Level 4 price of $244.50 (plus applicable fees). You will have till Friday, February 24th at 5:00PM EST to complete your order.
If you would like to purchase additional tickets or other options (e.g. RV Pass, RV Rental, Tent City, etc), please reply to this email and a customer service professional will help facilitate your order. Any additional general admission tickets purchased prior to the on-sale will be at the Price Level 5 price of $259.50 (plus applicable fees). The Bonnaroo on-sale will be re-launched on Saturday, February 25th at Noon EST for the general public.
Thank you for your patience and support. We're looking forward to seeing you at Bonnaroo this year!

I got the same email
So they are telling you your order didn't go through? Watch your bank/CC statements!
did the people who are getting these emails today NOT get confirmation emails?
no, i made it to the last page twice and hit submit and it was processing before i got the error message. i never got a confirm email so i figured it didn't go thru.

I wrote them back per the instructions since I bought an RV pass too. I copied them the receipt that I got. And I also asked them if the hold on the $753 would be released on my bank account. We'll see...
So nice of Bonnaroo to relaunch the sale to the public at highest ticket price despite not selling out of Level 4 tickets before they shut it down last weekend. Seems pretty sketchy to me.
Ouch. This is a pretty revolting development for those people who thought they got tics. I'm one of them
Whats crazy to me is now everyone else who didnt make it to the last page has to pay fro tier 5 so that means 3,4 basically soldout in 2 hours has that ever happened before????
I am assuming I got the email (for the pre-sale of the onsale catchup 2012) because I entered my cc and the order was "processing" then whoop whoomp.....I also used my boyfriends email but never made it to the last screen like I did using my email I keep checkinghis inbox and havent received one for him. I am just trying to understand how they decieded who to send the emails too??

Last year it sold out in 2 hours. Tier 5 lasted until May.
It has but based on how many people had trouble I find it hard to believe that enough people got through to actually purchase all the tickets at the 3rd and 4th levels.

Can someone who got the e-mail please PM me the e-mail address that they got the e-mail from? I have a screen cap of being on the very last screen, so I'm gonna send them an e-mail.

The early tiers never last very long anyway, I do not think this was some huge scheme to make a extra 30 grand or anything.

I think they sent the emails to the people who thought they actually purchased tickets and got a confirmation/had money taken out.
it sounds like they added tickets to tier 4 to allow this special sale to happen. they say i can buy 2 tickets at tier 4 when i was only attempting to purchase 1.
From what was posted to the FB page - my assumption is that if you got the confirm email - those are good. I was able to complete one purchase for VIP tickets and have the email confirm and the single charge to my c/c.
But i also tried a gazillion times to get GA tickets and experienced every error mentioned in this thread at every point in the process. There are no charges to my card for those. Will be using that email to get some of the GA's i need to buy. I think... fingers crossed, that i used Quacker's email once as well.
