Same think happened to me, bought one of the Blu ones about two months ago or so and it totally crapped out last week. I try not to use it every day if I can help it.
SO, my work is making everyone who has insurance through them to take a nicotine test. If you test positive you have to pay $50 a paycheck... I'll be good for a few days, and then my job pisses me off and I smoke. It sucks when my job wants us to quit, but they're the reason I smoke (sometimes).

although money is always a GREAT motivator. you can do it.
Huge difference between the vape and the e-cigs. We were on vacation, drinking and around cigarettes and no problem! I never would have believed it. We're at five weeks now. Unfortunately it's an adult pacifier for me too so eventually I'll be dropping the nicotine levels.
Got a decent vape and am trying to resist buying another pack. I've been sucking royally at not smoking when there is is a pack in the house, but both Chris and I are out right now though our vapes are pretty constantly in our hands. I've gotten used to the feel of something in my hand so feel weird when I don't have a smoke in my hand. That's the hardest part now.

After the initial cravings died down after the first couple months, that was definitely the hardest part for me too. I just got so used to having something to do with my hands, especially whenever I was driving or out drinking, that it became like a Pavlovian response.
I picked up a cheap vape from a convenience store about a week ago - it's definitely helping, although I do wish it weren't flavoured.
And 800 puffs, my ass! Yeah, okay... maybe for your tiny li'l leprechaun lungs.
Those cheap gas station vapes are crap. Weren't a good substitute for me at least.
I kinda figured it would be, since it cost less than a pack (what can I say, smokes are crazy expensive here). If you have any better suggestions, I'm all ears.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

What I did was find a vape store nearby and let them decide what I needed. I suggest not going with the disposable tips, and instead getting the one where you replace the atomizer (it's all gibberish to me, but they'll know what I'm talking about). They don't leak as much. And vape stores let you sample the flavors they have before buying, so that's nice.
I figured I would share some of my knowledge and recommendations from vaping in the past 7+ months to some of you guys just starting. Would also like to hear your experiences, recommendations, etc.
I've been ordering from smokecignals mostly since I've quit smoking cigs, but a friend of mine just discovered a shop called the mad alchemist. I just ordered the Wretched Wrath of the Rat Pack that has all 13 of their flavors in 5mL vials. He said his favorite that he's tried so far is the Eye of Newt which is a creamy key lime flavor. I'll report back on my favs later.
My favorites from smokecignals is blue star (mix of blueberry, lime, and pineapple), cotton candy, peanut butter and strawberry jelly, cantaloupe, and blueberry. vap all of those regularly. Grape, honeydew, kiwi, peach, and red star are pretty good, but not as outstanding as my favs. Do not order the tropicalia or watermelon. I only tried those because they were deals of the week when I was putting in orders and they were terrible. And the cinnamon candy has a great taste, but it will melt polycarbonate plastic tanks. You have to use a pyrex glass tank and even then it is pretty harsh so I stopped vaping it. It's even harsh when you mix it with other flavors.
Another recommendation that I have to save you on the cost of replacing coils or buying new tanks is this liquid that a shop close to me sells that's called atty refresher. Once your tank starts developing any solids or starts making your e-liquid gummy or you're just wanting to swap flavors. It should come with instructions on how to clean. I basically just drain any remaining liquid if there is any and squirt a few mL in there and shake it around over a sink for a minute or 2. Then drain it, put cap back on, and dry vap it (hitting it with the cleaner in there without inhaling about 5 times). Then you can put whatever e-liquid you want in and dry hit it a few times and then it will be good to go. That want2vape place also has some great tobacco flavors if you prefer those. The 555.5 flavor and the London blend are excellent. I vap them occasionally, but generally prefer fruit and/or candy flavors.
Oh and the best tanks that I have come accross and use now is kanger protank 2 and the one that comes with the itaste mvp vaporizer. Both have the smaller diamter inner threads instead of the larger outer threads and neither has leaked ever like those cheap outer thread cartomizers.

I pick up the cheap gas station e-cigs for when I can't smoke at a show, but I can't possibly go a whole day with those things. I'm planning on investing in a legit vaporizer kit very soon to help me quit. Thanks for the tips.
Yeah, the cheap gas station e-cigs are crap. I was using those for a couple of months off and on and still needed cigs because they couldn't satisfy the cravings after eating or during the consumption of alcohol. A good friend of mine is the Marketing Manager for FIN up there in ATL and she gave me a bunch of them for free about a year ago, but they just don't do it. She likes them, but she was never a real smoker. They don't last very long either and would be way more expensive to use regularly that the real ecigs where you just buy your juice and refill, instead of constantly buying those shitty disposable cartridges.
I just got a Chai Tea flavor and I love it!!! I also like the dreamsicle but Chai is for sure my fave right now!!! it will be 6 weeks tomorrow smoke free. HELL YA!!!!
Just realized I hadn't given an update lately, havent been on inforoo in a week. Proud to say that yesterday was my five week mark luva, I think you meant you are at six??
