So would it be safe to assume this is your three plausible mafia? Care to entertain us with the reasoning? Or were you just giving us a friendly greeting?
Oh it was def my guess on mafia, based solely on the voting patterns of the first round and silence and unwillingness to answer questions by some.
But Id like to edit it:
Abra Mike D CST/Nic
The fact that nic immediately stacked on top of vikings accusation of me makes him suspicious imo.
I voted and stuck with it and thought I explained it pretty well, I have had much quieter games, don't think I ignored and questions to me. If i'm missing something, i'd love to know.

I must have missed your questions. I changed my vote off of my voting partner one to see if it might stir up some protective voting and I believe it has. I'm not mafia at all and trying not to be a dumbass that gets whacked by calling every person in the game mafia.
Oh I'm definitely not mafia. I think you may just be blowing smoke to cover your tracks.
the fact that i know i am 100% townie and your lame excuses as to why i am not, make you mafia imo. if your a townie, i suggest you invest your research elsewhere before we get behind very quick in this game.
So I just reread the entire thread a few times, and a few thoughts:
1 - I am very comfortable in staying with my vote for phi. All he has done is start throwing wild accusations out there with one exception, noted in 2 below. I would take these accusations with a grain of salt, but it does not necessarily prove innocence, as noted in 3.
2 - There is this weird connection between Phi and RDK. As I said in my first longer post, last game, when Phi was mafia, he talked about mafia pairings to protect each other. Twice, Phi has voted for RDK, and twice, when he was in trouble, he switched off. I say weird instead of suspicious because if it were not for Phi, RDK may not have ended up in the runoff to start with. Which leads us to point 3.
3 - If we assume Phi is Mafia, it seems like there was a definite switch in game play around 4PM EST yesterday. Thats when Phi started firing off accusations, and switched to RDK. That is also when they started distancing from each other. Again, I am not saying that RDK is mafia, it is just a weird situation. It looks like this vote pairing may have backfired by each of them saying the other seems innocent earlier today for no good reason once Phi switched off him. That makes me suspicious of RDK again.
4 - The surf situation. I actually have no reason to think surf is mafia or innocent. I think we read too much into his situation last weekend. I definitely do not think he is innocent, but there is not nearly enough evidence at this point to vote him off.
I think we have at least 1 if not 2 mafia in the run off at this point. As the saying goes, "A bird in hand is as good as 2 in the bush." In my opinion, we should knock out Phi, and sort out the other 2 in the next round. My vote stands.

I've been kind of laying low this game, been really busy this week. No idea how you could possibly think I am suspicious. That kind of makes me think you are just pulling names from nowhere. However I don't want to vote for you just yet because that would put you in the lead for this runoff and I'm not too sure just yet.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

If we have 2 Mafia in the run-off we are the most spectaular bunch of townies EVER!

I let SFA's null vote slide this am as his remarks where clear that he was okay with the runoff as is. In regards to game play, not voting was not significant. Based on his comments he would have chosen someone with one or no votes. I had not sent a PM indicating he would be in default, therefore that one will not count as a default.
That said, SFA has been PM'd that he needs to vote tonight or tomorrow. If SFA does not vote by tomorrow at 8 pm it will be considered his first default. Since we have not yet heard from him, consider this notice to all that we will not hold the vote open past tomorrow at 8 pm if there are no vote changes and we have not heard from SFA.
If Viking is Mafia being coached by fellow Mafia, then his partner is SFA. hehehehe. Sooo stylistically SFA
Hahaha. His pouring over the games does seem like me. But I would never couch him to kick up this much dust so early. No way. Which makes me think he is probably innocent because I don't see a mafia angle there.
That doesn't mean I think he is right about Phi or RDK. Crap I don't know what to do. I'm thinking we need another runoff to get votes moving a little more. I'm almost done rereading and then I'll decide.
SFA, I just want to add before you make your decision. If you really are going to send it into another runoff, be sure to look at who you leave with the deciding votes once that third person leaves the runoff.

I'm not feeling to good about any of my options. Looking back it seems none of the three of you are that suspicious, so starting another runoff might be pointless. I'd rather move some votes around then voting Surf strait off.
Having said that, you are playing totally different then last game when you were Mafia.
Obviously RDK is going to move his vote to me. That leaves Viking and Nick
If you go back and look, not only has RDK been very quiet and trying to fly under the radar, he also voted for Phi (who I am pretty sure is a townie) and tried to get me voted off outright without a runoff. No runoff is best for mafia because it avoids revealing voting patterns and gets a townie out.
What have I done? I have been quite vocal, tried to be available as much as possible and answered everything that was asked of me. I am an open book here. I got a voting partner in the beginning and didn't change my vote because it never made sense to (when I checked in) until I switched to RDK (who I see as very suspicious based on his ACTIONS).
Also, feel free to chime in CST and EAP and LLL... Even you, Phi. Voting me off here is a mistake. We have a shot at getting one of the mafia out of the game in the first round here. Lets not squander it because we didn't think it through...
Also Phi I agree that viking isn't playing this game excellently but you really are throwing quite a few accusations around.
think about it for a second.
if i was mafia, would i be going around making my accusations and suspicions public and draw attention to myself?
Maybe.
I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it? At this point, everyone says that. Anyone who is involved in trying to figure out the mafia, always uses that defense when they eventually get accused or suspected of being mafia. "Why would I accuse people and put attention on myself if I was mafia?" So wouldn't a clever mafia strategy be to do exactly that? Get really really "involved" and then if anyone is suspicious, just say, "don't you think I'd be hanging back a little more if I was mafia?"
So, again, I'm not implying that just because you said that, that you are mafia. But at this point simply saying "well I've been involved in trying to figure out the mafia" is not a defense against you being mafia.
I was on surf from the very beginning, also. and it wasn't because I thought he was mafia, he was just my voting partner. So I feel like right now, in the runoff, my vote is ill informed. So I'm going to do this until I have some time to think this over and figure out who I want to put my vote on. I'll change it after some things have played out, or at the very least I will re-read the thread and switch it tonight. For now though:

er wat? you were very quiet until you were placed in the runoff.
