might as well bring them and do the same thing....i brought some...several last year but i was lazy and did not get my butt up and into centroo when everyone else put theirs in so i had lonely ducks that were quickly snatched up by the mass amount of people around the fountain.
my duckies were the ones that were drawn all over. I hope people like them! it should be like a cycle if you picked one up last year add to it and bring it back this year and leave it in the fountain for someone else.
The last two years, there was a movement to distribute little yellow plastic ducks....I think the idea was to cover the fountain with them, but... Last year I brought a small bag of 'em, and then forgot I had them.
Any reason to bring them back? They live in a plastic sack and have been screaming all year to get out.....
Same here! We had a huge bag of 'em...even had little messages written on the bottom but after the Brunch, we completely forgot to take 'em to the fountain. So instead, my lil' bag o' duckies went on adventures with other Inforoosters!

We brought a few dozen. It was too frickeening hot for me after brunch- so Quacker did the deed friday aft. Word has it he lobbed them from afar like little ducky grenades. All had messages on the bottom. All went very quickly!
As promised I checked the fountain later that day and before we called it a night and all ducks had found a home, including quacker.
Holls- we are bringing the little Quack club quackers back this year. They have been sitting (not Shiiiitting) on the fireplace in the play room quacking to go back to roo.

Awww, yay! I keep 1 of the lil' quackers in the console by my gear shift and 1 of the yellow smiley stick men (also from a MikeD pool party) in my visor CD holder. So every time I'm in the car, I'm instantly reminded of happy memories w/Inforoosters. ;D

I just found a stray duck yesterday! Someone in the other thread posted this idea, but I wrote "I came from Minnesota to go home with you, please pass me on at next year's Bonnaroo!" One of the girls I camped next to last year still has one on the dash of her car. I'll be bringing more this year.
Ducks in the fountain always remind me of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. Little fuckkers ride the elevator down twice a day and waddle the red carpet past the bar into their fountain.

I brought 10 ducks last year, but missed the fountain ducking. Ended up freeing 8 of them during the clusterquack that was Gogol Bordello. The other 2 are still with my Roo stuff waiting for this year, needless to say, they and more of their kind will be joining us this year.
