I wouldn't say dumbest, I have already stated my opinion on the "worst game ever" posts by several players over the last few games and I feel that the "dumbest whatever role" is right there with it. Not necessarily a wise move, possibly yes, but how many times have we said in previous games that if so and so was the inspector they would have come out before dying in a runnoff? This is exactly what Viking did and why, at least for now, I believe him.
If I had players telling me I was the worst player ever, dumbest whatever role, I would throw in the towel too. This isn't grade school where you can be picked on day in and day out, if he wants out, so be it. It sucks to have him want to leave like this, but I don't blame him one bit.

And, I, at least, was trying to be careful to discern between pointing out PLAYING vs PERSONAL attributes. One of my college degrees is in Family Studies, one in Social Work, one in Nursing...so phrasing in communication has been drilled in my head over and over and over, so I really do try to be self-aware.

No one told him he was the worst player ever or the dumbest. Dumbest Inspector Move Ever doesnt come close to even saying that he is the WORST inspector ever.

Get a grip. This is a game. People call people names all the time in Mafia, like really call people names. And no one ever says anything then. (I have, but I haven't heard anyone else do it) EAP, while I love her, comes down HARD on people in her rants. No one ever says anything to her. This has to be contrived. And to let all that he says to people go and only focus on what people say back to him? Really? So it's OK for him, but not OK for anyone else.
Contrived. I hope this is contrived or I am very wrong about who some of you people are.

To those who record login times and such, he has been on inforoo, today as a matter of fact. Don't know if he just doesn't know what to say or add, or if he could be sending PM's back and forth trying to figure out his angle. Something to watch, but not enough for me to call him out as probable/possible mafia yet.
I wasn't commenting on login times, in fact, I didn't look at that. I never have while playing this game. My comment was that he hasn't posted anywhere.

Bonnie, change your vote to me, I'm not going to vote myself off but since Viking quit, if you vote me off then you can be sure that if he is Fake Inspector, you got rid of Mafia, and if he isn't, you got rid of me.

Depends on the ref, but typically yes, his leaving would take the place of the vote and we go straight to the mafia kill/inspector guess/night one. It's EAP's call, but ref's try their best to keep the active players at an odd number during the day to avoid a deadlock vote that can easily take place with an even number of voters.

I was called and asked to place my guess by a person associated with game. EAP also sent me an email saying that if I walked, I would be immediately killed and removed from the game.
As I said in the last message and earlier in the thread, I do not want to compromise the game and I am not a quitter and my intention was not to quit since I signed up. I am still walking away from the board though, due to the issues posted before.
EAP, my guess is SFA since he seems most likely linked to LLL. Can you please post the reply in the thread if I am not killed? If not, email me again outside of roo, and I will finish off the game.

viking was riding his favorite ride at the annual town carnival: the teacups. after riding about 5 times in a row, he decided to take a break. he was walking around and he saw a little chair propped up next to a tent. he took a load off. little did he know, HERMBO the clown was waiting behind the wall of the tent. he stabbed viking in the head.

It had nothing to do with him coming out in the first round runoff. It has to do with the way he has played the entire game. I, in no way, believe that Viking would have played the way he did if he was actually the inspector. And NOBODY said he was the worst inspector ever. They said it would make him the worst inspector ever. AND IT TOTALLY WOULD. END OF STORY.
Which means that he is mafia.

I don't trust him one and I don't fall for this pity party. How would you like someone to tell Sarah to "stop bitching" when they don't even understand her point? That's what he told LLL. He was running down Bacon on the second page. He was constantly talking about all the players losing as townies until his "style" came along. Talking shit about the way others play, etc.
Yeah, a real class act inspector right there.
Strait up naming people likely mafia from very early on, which is one of the dumbest things an inspector could ever do. Like really? If he honestly knew LLL was mafia would he endlessly attack her and write the longest post in mafia history about her and then be like, "Ohhh, geeezzzzz I was hoping to make it another round???" Like the mafia wouldn't whack his goofy ass?

I agree, SFA. If Viking were inspector, I would assume he would have been treading MUCH more lightly. Inspectors don't do what he did. But also... drink a beer, SFA!
