Hello. It's almost time again. Birmingham does Bonnaroo. Alabama does too. Chime in if you are in Alabama, or if you have ties to Alabama. Lettuce think of a gathering, The Somewhere Tent, somewhere, there.

Bump. I'm doing a story for a local newspaper this year on you Alabama folks or those of you with Alabama ties. Live here, from here, have driven through here, know Yelawolf or the Shakes or that Alice Cooper played in Birmingham once upon a time? Here's your chance of 15 minutes of fame, as Warhol would say. Keep me posted. ~jg

Went to Auburn University and worked in Piedmont for a while. This is my third Roo. Don't know if that's what you're looking for but I'm down to help you out man.

Nate- that's exactly the fodder I'm looking for. I'm in the process of finalizing a "set" of questions to ask folks.
Glo- I'll be writing shooting for myself under Black & White's umbrella. Freelance-spec. And if it's B&W worthy, it will be in print. Good folks. Good read.
Also In B'ham. Will be going for the third year and planning to stay in camp inforoo. This is my first year to plan to meet up with people I have met on inforoo so i would like to meet up with Bham people at the farm.

Mushroomshowers- My notification just says GA camping so I don't know yet where that will be. I'll be traveling on my moto-scooter to be there Wed. for credentialing. Camp Infooroo is is tent only, right? I'll be round at least by brunch Friday if not before.
By the time I ride up there from here I may not feel like hoofing all my stuff from wherever I have to park the bike to TO. Last year I was in BFE Vendor camping. It was a walk but nice to be "far" from the maddening crowd when I wanted to be. I "worked/volunteered" 3 shifts last year. No work this year except my self assignment and a little more "access".
We need a distinguishing flag. Or a giant boll weevil on a pole.
Well hope to see you at Brunch for sure. My 1st year I went with a freind last year with my 21yr old Daughter so this year I decided to go it alone and experence something different.
I'm from Alabama.. I goto the University of North Alabama in Florence (and live here) up in the NW Corner of the state.. hope to be going to my 4th Roo this year

willsfc -thanks for the check-in. Say hello to Jim Lindsey if you see him for me. He's from there, right?
I lived in Sheffield once upon a time just up the road from the Dairy Queen. One of my housemates at the time claimed to be a sniper. He had crazy guns and would be away for extended periods of time. Whacky.
Hopefully we'll all hook up.
Be on the look out for a "Ala-roo" questionaire, here, in this thread.
I currently live in b'ham although i'm from louisiana, and will surely be attending BONNAROOOOOO! I go to BSC, and yeah, pretty solid. I had tickets to see Alabama Shakes once, but I didn't go. It was raining.

Nice. I went to BSC but did not end up with a degree from there. An old girlfriend teaches math there now. I landed in Illinois to finish. Birmingham has long been home.

I guess I should read my own thread. Good to see and meet (I hope) you folks. I'll be at the brunch with a name tag on and will look for your flags since we don't know or at I don't know where I'll be camped.
