Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I'm useless at work after the two hour post show drive home followed by being to amped up to sleep. That was one sick show last night, even though the fine people of Columbus feel the need to talk through the entire show.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

So I accidentally let my Roll Call Membership expire. Do you think if I reenrolled, they would allow me to use the membership card instead of the laminate to get into the Chicago show early? I have friends who signed up for Roll Call and still haven't received their credentials. Also, if I re enroll do they send me all of the same stuff again?
Sorry I posted this here, but I didn't want to bump an old thread and I can't access the MMJ official forum boards since I can no longer log in. I thought maybe some of you would know.

You can re-enroll and email their support staff immediately (at least 2 days before the show) at RollCallLam@gmail.com to work out getting a card on-site before early entry.
The 2012 package has new schwag, including a laminate, poster & t shirt with new designs

Yes, I think they will. I'd confirm this at the MMJ Forum though to be 100%. Others are waiting on this roll call package to ship and were told to just ue the 2011 membership card (if you signed up again as a Roll Call member).

Awesome, thanks for your help guys. I actually just received an email back from them. I thought it was going to take days, that's why I posted here. This is what they had to say:
Yes, if you renew your membership before the show you can use your 2011 Roll Call membership card to gain early entry. Your Roll Call membership will not renew automatically, and you should have received expiration notifications to the email address on your Roll Call account. If you did not receive any emails, they may be in your junk folder. As for your friend, there was in fact a delay in production with certain t-shirt sizes. Customer Support is available at 877-GND-CTRL 8am - 6pm PT M - F or at support.groundctrl.com and can help your friend track his or her order. Hope this helps!

Details? Were there a lot of these for sale? Was it a raffle type thing? How much?
ITM... I didn't buy one, but they were available in the merch tent. I want to say it was $35-40??
I likely won't buy one either. Just wanted to know the deal. My money will go to a poster if possible.
I've actually got two vinyl copies of Circuital, so don't really need a third one. I'm still trying to set aside money to buy album frames for the 6 picture disc vinyls I have of theirs.

ITM. It was 40 bones and they only had 2 left by the time I got there. I didnt purchase a poster this show since I have the signed Forecastle print. I already have Circuital on vinyl as well so I am not sure what I am going to do with this one yet.

I have too many posters now. I need to buy a portfolio to store them in.
What do you do?? It's way to expensive to frame them. I had my 2008 Roo poster framed, but the next four are still sitting in the tubes.
Right now I've got a stack of a few of them on a chair. Flattened out so I don't want to roll them up again. I want to find a big portfolio case thing that art students use so I can store them all but I have not looked hard enough yet.

If you do that do not just put them straight in the portfolio. At very least get some thick stock acid free paper to put between the posters and the portfolio and the posters.

Good to know. I would have just been plopping them all in unless I looked into it more. I should go to some art supplies stores near me to see what they ahve.

While we're on the subject of posters, does anyone know where to get just a regular MMJ poster? Like, not one from a show just a general one that says "My Morning Jacket" with some cool art/photos and whatnot? I want to decorate my room in my new apartment and I've become poster crazy recently. It's weird but general band posters not from shows are kind of hard to come by.
Apparently there's a 10pm curfew for the brooklyn show
That sounds awful. Even the 2 hours at Bonnaroo last year seemed way too short; I hope you guys get that at least.
People on the MMJ boards think we'll get at least that. It says Doors open at 5 and show begins at 6:30. If they start right on time Shabazz can play until 7:15 or 7:30 and then MMJ can come on right after or at 8.

Hobby Lobby my friend. They have frames that are suited to the odd measurements of many posters, or at least frames that come damn close. I have purchased "collage" frames and I just take out the innards. I have almost all of my prints framed and up in my foyer and living room at this point.
