Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am unfortunately no longer able to go to Bonnaroo this year. I have two general admission tickets (not yet shipped to me) that I would like to sell. Send me a PM if interested. I will eat the shipping costs and service fees-- I think that is about $40 off of each ticket.
I am located in Raleigh, NC but will ship tickets to you!
So was I....but my purchase went through about 3 minutes before the major ticket sales crash...so I have no clue if I'm in the queue to receive a wristband or if I'm in some computer wasteland...I'm so bummed right now.
I'm not sure if I want to go through this again....may try a different festival next year.....never thought I would say that, but...
I think you're panicking a little early.
Probably.....
They say to call them if you don't have a 'shipped email' by May 30th. At that point, it's too late.
Just go my email saying they are shipping and all it kept saying was guest credentials, guest credentials, guest credentials. Then I clicked on the attachment and it said (2) - Patron. Was slightly bummed out. Thought I was getting upgraded to guest camping for a second.

Oh well, it is what it is...
I find it ironic that you're freaking out and yet end your post with "it is what it is", as if simply not receiving your wristband would be somehow justified.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
From combing this thread I wondering if the emails that went out were for people who picked usps as their shipping method. I chose ups and still havent gotten my shipping confirm email. I have the one saying they will ship to the address listed so I am sure its on its way. I am just curious why some people who got during the presale didnt get the email and people who bought after "ticket fiasco 2012" did

I bought after the fiasco and have gotten no email from Roo since my order confirmation in March...
Chloe ...what was the shipping method you chose ups or usps I think that may have something to do with it. USPS is obviously easier so it would make sense that went first. I am assuming if you chose UPS you will get you confirm email next week.

USPS... but I think they recently closed a branch or two in our area If I haven't received anything by next week, they will be hearing from me for sure ;D
Since wristbands are now applied by guests instead of security, does this speed admission through the tollgates compared to when security used to apply wristbands? I know the RFIDs need scanning to be activated, but is this quicker than security fumbling to get a band on every wrist?

Where are you seeing this? Everything I keep seeing is that staff will apply the wristband?
Also I just noticed we HAVE to register our wristbands this year.
"This year, all Bonnaroovians are required to register their RFID wristband. It's your ticket and your investment. Registering will establish its authenticity and ensure that your uniquely coded wristband belongs to you. As an extra benefit, our friends at Ford are giving you a chance to win an all-new 2013 Ford Escape. After registering, connect to Facebook and secure an additional entry to win the Escape. Connecting will also enhance your Bonnaroo experience with social media features, possible VIP upgrades, merchandise discounts, setlists and free music from Bonnaroo bands. Awesome!"

My bad. I was so excited I didn't read the instructions. Yeah, "Bonnaroo staff will apply wristbands... Failure to follow these instructions may make your life miserable." I guess saving time at the tollgates was not the objective.

I just tried to register mine and it said ticket not found.
I thought I remembered having to register last year too but I can't remember. I thoguht I had to go on some website and confirm. I definitely didn't sign up for the "Check in" on facebook thing but I thought we had to register our wristbands because there was a lot of concern over "How can I sell this to a friend if it's registered to me".
If I remember right, last year was optional. It didn't really matter one-way or another. This year they are making it sound like you don't have a choice.
I guess I will wait till we get some "official" clarification on that one.

Just registered mine (yeah, required according to the instructions included with the wristbands). You use the bottom set of 8 numbers and letters on the back of the plastic tag part of the wristband.
