I cant believe so many people are talking about drinking Stouts not only in the summer but also when you are outside in the heat. I love stouts as much as anyone but that is a fall/winter beer.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

I really like Boddington's for breakfast. It has a lot of nutrients but is lighter than chewing down a stout. Of course, if it's a drizzly morning there's nothing like a stout for those stick-to-your-ribs carbs that you need to start your day.

If it's gloomy outside I could handle a stout. I kind of have rules for beer and I really stick to drinking certain beers in certain seasons. For me, stouts are for sitting around the campfire in October or around the fireplace in January.
For summer and being outside, especially when it is really hot I stick to light lagers and usually dont drink any microbrews. When it is so hot, I tend to drink them too fast and a nice brew should be savored, not pounded down. I will probably be bringing some Miller High Life for the most part and maybe a 12 pack of some Boulevard Wheat or Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. The later would be a good breakfast beer.
