I found this little device to be indispensable last year:


It's a personal water mist thingy with a built in air pump, so no worrying about batteries. It was like walking around with my own personal misting tent.

Also, last year I arrived at the roo with a 30 pack of beer and left with 28 of them. My wife and I each had a beer immediately after setting up our tent, but after that with the heat and everything, beer just never sounded like a good idea. Wish I'd given them away instead of taking them home.

We only ate one meal in Centeroo last year, but that probably had more to do with the fact we were lucky enough to get a camp site that was a 5 minute walk from the gate. If we had been further away, I imagine we would have paid for more meals there. We even cooked bacon and eggs on a camp stove for breakfast one morning, best meal of the weekend!

We got ours at the local Shop N' Save for about $7.
