We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Back in my single days, I had a crush on a hot construction worker. I passed by the site every day. I stopped one day and told him he made my view on the way to work so much nicer. He got my number and we had a few dates. He was dumber than a box of rocks.
*edit* from the posts on this thread, it seems that brunettes seem to be the reigning fav of the Inforoo boys. Im down with that. I need to wear my librarian glasses more.

There's this new barista who is always playing Caribou and Toro Y Moi at this cafe. She's also apparently a big Clams Casino fan and she's really cute but apparently has a boyfriend.

There is this woman who walks her dog in front of my house. She is about 5'2". She is married and so am I. Dang, it doesn't even appear that she is into her husband though.
None that I see regularly enough to develop a crush. I mean I always come across cute girls but I can't think of any I see more than once. There's a cute girl that works at Target but I wouldn't really consider it a crush......yet.
No girls I really have a crush on at the moment. I need to meet different people. Most of the people I know suck lol
I feel the same way. I moved here about 8 months ago and haven't developed a crush on anyone, no one I work with, not any regulars that come around, there isn't even a cute shop boy that strikes my fancy. I've got to say, it makes the day to day kind of boring...having no one to look forward to seeing.
My issue is that I don't go anywhere there might be people to have crushes on. My stops include: work, the grocery store, the library, and the gas station. And I guess the attractive people and I have different schedules because there is NEVER anyone cute at any of those places.
I had a friend who absolutely got hit on in the line at the grocery store. and she didnt even realize it until she was leaving. I was like, FOR REAL? GOOD GOD MAN. I need to go to the grocery store with her. Also, hard to meet people in the grocery store - im usually carrying something mildly embarrassing or something that would be best held until the second date. like kitty litter. or toilet paper.

Nope. I live in what may be described by some people as the "hood". A lot of the folks at the grocery store look like crack heads or are elderly people that can't afford to retire.

I can crush on anyone especially if they are shy. There's something very endearing about a shy, nervous, smart guy. I also crush on girls with outgoing personalities or with a different style. They are just harmless crushes, more like I want to know more about that person. But anything from a messed up smile, or a band t-shirt, a boisterous laugh especially in females, or someone buying organic foods. Odd things now that I type it out. I don't have any trouble talking to people, just a hello is perfect to get a conversation started. If someone was walking by my work and I wanted to talk to them I'd find a reason. "I see you are around this area a lot, I heard there's a new (whatever) store, do you happen to know where it is?"
