Our reunion this weekend went as well as it could possibly go. We did lots of fun things together. She spent the night at my place one night and we spent the night together on a small mountain here in Seoul. Our goodbye today was a hot mess. So many tears on both sides. But I am content knowing how strong our feelings are for each other. Now the hard part really begins. The two year waiting game. She is back with her boyfriend now. I don't know what will happen with that. But I know if anything was for certain this weekend it was that our strong connection we share was definitely cemented in something.

that is tough, but I'm glad you got to see her again. having a connection like that with someone changes your life, regardless of the eventual outcome, and no matter what leaves a soul imprint that informs who you are from that point forward. best of luck!

Don't waste two years waiting for her. Especially if she's with someone. Give yourself sometime and find a way to keep your mind active and move forward. There's another soul mate I'm sure.

Pretty well we went to Brewhouse West, and then sat around talking and hanging at my place until like 1:30. I think we are going out again tonight unless she decides the duck egg farm can not live without her for another day.

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
Sooo in a bit of relation to my post in the "Yayyy" thread, my girlfriend of five months and I went to the weddin' of two of my best friends. Overall awesome. But she caught the damn bouquet and the four other guys literally pushed me in the garter belt toss against my protests. She also dropped the "I Love You" bomb about three months into our relationship, which I was not at all ready fer. Now things have been goin' well, and I have now responded in kind...but fuck I'm startin' to worry things are goin' too fast fer me. Hoo boy...

I'm definitely not good at giving relationship advice but: Your instincts are telling you something here, and I'm always in favor of listening to your gut feelings. Don't bury it and keep going along, doing what other people want you to do. If you think things are moving too fast, consider talking to your lady about it. Just my two cents, but just remember, this is your relationship too!
Since my divorce I have discovered some things are really fun to do alone. Like going to see movies with my very own box of candy. And over the weekend I randomly hired a sitter and drove downtown to see Deerhoof and my ATM card din't work and they let me in free anyway and then one of the opening bands ended up being really awesome (people get ready) and I went home and caught up on game of thrones and ate eggs. Cheers to the single life!

Talking isn't my problem. I have gotten to be pretty good friends with my particularly crush, because of the way my program works we are around each other at least 8 hours a day. It's that next move I just can't do.
