WTF RV blows this year.... last year we were next to VIP and it was perfect.. now looks like a disaster.. i wonder there thoughts for parking the RVs on Wed.... hummmmmmmm ????

Are RV's required to enter a certain gate? With the new layout it looks as if you entered the back entrance you would have to drive all the way across the campground to get to an RV lot.
In the past do they fill up the RV lots from front to back (earliest arrivals get best spots) or back to front?
last year they were filling front to back.. btu they were also parking multiple RV losts at same time.. .. and last year the closed the back entrance early and redirected out RV group to the front entrance.. HUGE PAIN

So do you think that if I plan on arriving between 5-6 central time on Wednesday night I would be best just sticking with the highway in order to avoid potential re-routes? I know the gates don't officially open until 7 but would expect them earlier, if not I will get in line.
Also, I am coming from Nashville so I-24 East will I have to go past the exit for Bonnaroo and turn around and get on I-24 West?
its is hard to tell.. all depends on how the Local cops decide to shut the roads.. and if the back stacks up like last year they will re rout to the front. its a crap shoot..

Is it just me, or did they change the direction This Tent is facing. On the map is not facing the fountain but angled towards the comedy tent
I couldn't really see it because of the pins, but I did notice that it seems like the Cinema Tent has moved over to be between This Tent and the Comedy Tent.

Hmm, it does sort of seem like This is facing a different direction, doesn't it? That's odd. I'm not the best judge though, I could just be failing at memory right now.
Has anyone been able to spot anything interesting on the Centeroo map?
It seems that the Comedy Theatre and Cinema Tent have definitely moved, but I think the This, That, and Other Tents are still located in the same spot. I don't think the maps are quite to scale, but the angle and distance look roughly the same between the two.

What is the walk like from the farthest RV Camping spot (Camp Roger Murdoch) and also the RV camping area like in general. It looks kinda close, but was wondering what the general consensus was.
Comparing to may 2011 map: The Cinema tent is not on the West side like it was in 2010 or this year. I don't know where it was as I did not go to a cinema tent last year.
I think last year the Big Ass slide and the truck oasis took its place.
This year the Comedy tent looks to have been slid down and the Cinema tint put in.
guys, take a closer look at 2011's map... its probably not *exact*
Note the same tent directions as 2012's map... they probably just took the Other tent's pic and enlarged it a bit. The layout may be a lil more spread out for the cinema and comedy tent, but I wouldnt obsess over it.

Not sure why the biznatching about the RV spots... They were quite similar last year. From experience, if its above 85, the walk from Camp Murdoch is long and hot. Bring a sun umbrella.
RV camping IMO is a tad less community oriented. If all goes well this year we will be with RV Roosters so it should be way better.
