1. Alice cooper 2. Alabama shakes 3. Beach boys 4. Fitz & tantrums 5. Flying lotus
Any one who saw Alice, and doesn't have him at 1, is an idiot.
+1 to you for that. I went into it expecting it to just be a fun show. I certainly didnt expect it to be as incredible as it was. It had been several years since i had my mind blown at a show like that. Probably the strokes in 2002 was the last time before. Maybe radiohead in 2003. I was walking around that tent in a daze after it was over.

I went into it expecting my mind to be blown. I went in long enough to get center on the rail. It will be a loooooong time before another show comes around that tops it for me.
1. Big Freedia- anyone who was there knows whatsup - high energy big booty dance party 2. Phish- my 4th and by far funkiest Phish set I've been to 3. Major Lazer- my most anticipated set going in 4. GZA- first time I've seen any form of Wu and he didn't disappoint "The tongue is the blade and the words, thats the sword, and you keep that shit sharp at all timea!" 5. Big Gigantic- never listened to them before but were my favorite thursday set by far
1. The Roots (Was in the pit though - distorts the whole thing) 2. tUnE-yArDs 3. SBTRKT (Why wasn't this late night? Will never understand.) 4. St. Vincent (Why did you make me leave Ludacris though? that ain't right.) 5. Battles (but Little Dragon might deserve this spot. Also LN?!?!)
Phish deserves an honorable mention. oh, oh. and Trapped in the Closet.

1. The Roots - best hip-hop show i've ever seen at bonnaroo (sorry Jay-Z) 2. Rodrigo y Gabriela - Gabriela put a heart sign over her chest after I screamed i love u from the 3rd row. best moment of my life 3. The Word - missed Chew, but a great LN show 4. Superjam - i vote ?uestlove hosting one every year. The two he's been involved in were so much better than any other 5. Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds - discovered them on the Sonic Stage and they blew me away. Check 'em out. Think Grace Potter with a better voice and a killer horn section
Honorable mention: Gary Clark Jr., Trampled by Turtles, Sam Bush, Infamous Stringdusters, GZA, Moon Taxi, Orgone, Beach Boys (all these would be top shows in any other year)
1. Alice Cooper - I had originally planned to catch some of his set and move on to Superjam. But he brought the rock! And I was gifted reports of who was at Superjam and it didn't float my boat. I agree with some of you here: if you were at Cooper it was ballin', and if you missed it you missed out!
2. Beach Boys - Seein' that many people dancin' and singin' to a band I've grown up listenin' too was just too beautiful!
3. We Are Augustines (Sonic Stage) - I'd never heard these guys before but JHo convinced me to check 'em out and they were great. The fact that you could see how happy they were to be playin' only added to the fun!
4. Rodrigo y Gabriela and C.U.B.A. - Havin' to leave Ludacris sucked, but I know I made the right choice!
5. The Cave Singers - Easily my favorite set of Thursday, and dare I say best? Can't wait to catch these guys again!
Did you all miss Grouplove? They were by far one of the best acts at Bonnaroo. Second behind Radiohead and above SBTRKT.
I was wondering the same thing. Going through this thread theres not enough FTP and Grouplove. Both sets were great IMO, just wished I would got in the pit for Grouplove.

1. Radiohead- They're my favorite band and I was in the pit. I saw them on their tour from up top and I can understand how people who aren't huge fans might've felt bored by their show. But if you love them, there aren't many things in this world greater than seeing this band perform.
White Denim - 8/13-14 Power of the Riff - 9/1-2 Bruce Springsteen - 9/19 & 9/21 Gonjasufi - 9/24 Jay Z - 10/4 Animal Collective - 10/5 Swans - 10/10 GWAR - 10/16 New Order - 10/18 Squarepusher - 11/1 Bassnectar - 11/18 Neil Young & Crazy Horse - 11/27 Bonnaroo 2013 - ???
