Since bonnaroo presents itself as such a diverse fest I'd love to see 1 or 2 djs from a few of the larger genres represented.
Dubstep: Skream & Benga Skism Eoto Trance: Above & Beyond Paul Van Dyk Gareth Emery DnB: Carl Cox Rockwell House: David Guetta Hardwell (I dislike both but they are fairly popular)
Even a couple big names that cross genres would be great. Daft punk, Orbital, The Prodigy, Armin Van Buuren, Richie Hawtin... There are so many good choices that it would be a real shame if we ended up with Aviicii and Kaskade or something like that.

I wish they would get some of the veteran EDM artist to the farm like Deep Dish, Satoshi Tomeii, Steve Lawler, Mark Farina, Carl Cox, Josh Wink, or Donald Glaude to name a few.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

Anyone else down to see Hot Chip next year? I'm pretty sure Bonnaroo might be the only big festival they haven't played in the US yet. They put out a new record this week so they should still be touring next year hopefully.
I don't think they'd go over as a great LN act but I def think they could close out the Which Stage on Sunday or close out a tent on Fri or Sat. I saw them at Lollapalooza on the main stage right before Lady Gaga, so needless to say the crowd was all Gaga fans, however, they won the crowd over and absolutely delivered. I'm sure it didn't hurt that they're pretty big in the LGBT community tho.

Met one of the Art v Science guys after their secret show at the fountain. He was walking around in the tin foil suit with miner's light on his head. Fun guy!
While Skrillex did nothing for me, if we are going to book dubstep/techno-pop, at least schedule it properly. This Tent 12:30-2 Dubstep Guy 2:30-??? Serious House/Trance Party.

Hot Chip played in 2007. They were pretty good, but saddled with an unfortunate time slot, if I recall. I think they were middle of the day, against some heavy conflicts.
Damn, didn't realize they played the farm before. If we could get them back in a late afternoon or possibly a Thurs. tent-closing set that'd be ace!
I'd like to officially throw my wishlist into the ring.

Post that too in the Moogfest thread, if you don't mind.

Haha yeah I'm just messing around. I love all the "yes" list stuff. I can just also have a fun time getting down to most of the "no" list. I enjoyed Deadmau5 at Lolla 09 and Roo 10, but I also love the unique sets at Moogfest every year.
I always see this as a problem of scope. If Roo just booked twice the electronic acts then we could have both the pop-electronica (surely there's a better term) and the cool unique electronic stuff.
Also sorry if I sounded like an ass. Around 11 last night the Bonnaflu hit me. I was puking, etc. all night and am just starting to be able to hold down some cracker and flat soda.
I'm with you, man. There are only about three on Juggs' "no" list that I can't get down to. Hell, I have traveled five hours for a Pretty Lights Halloween show and skipped the Black Keys to see Bassnectar at Bonnaroo.
EDIT: Hope you feel better, by the way!

yeah... screw the huge acts that will bring a TON of excitement. seriously its like you guys are saying "instead of headliners lets just get a bunch of really decent cafe bands" i fully agree with the pretentious asshole comment.

Congrats on not knowing any of the acts we mentioned!
My Wishlist: Aphex Twin Air The Avalanches Baths Boards of Canada Bloody Beetroots Boys Noize Chemical Bros Chilly Gonzales Crystal Castles Cut Copy Digitalism DJ Shadow Faithless Felix Da Housecat Hot Chip How to Destroy Angels (a stretch to label them as EDM, I know) Justice Kraftwerk The Knife Massive Attack Orbital Plastikman Portishead The Prodigy Royksopp Squarepusher Toro Y Moi Underworld
Obviously some won't happen but at least a couple of these would make me a happy camper.

its not that i don't know a good 80%-90% of those, but cmon. the fun part about this edm fad is the spectacle of it all and the excitement and energy and hype surrounding these big names.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
It's fun to have a big EDM name, and Bonnaroo will do that as they have done in the past. There's no point in discussing that though, it will probably be deadmau5, PL, Skrillex, AVICII, or Bassnectar. Talking about which of those is best is silly, it's more fun to discuss (and thus learn about) EDM acts which are great. There's more to speculate and discuss about when talking about smaller names that make (in my opinion) better music.
