I’m in a 12 team league with standard starting rosters (1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB and 1 Flex) where my quarterbacks are Rivers, Cutler and Palmer (quantity over quality!) but my receives are A.J. Green, Colston, Antonio Brown, Stevie Johnson, and Denarious Moore. I’ve been offered Cam Newton for Colston straight up. I wasn’t huge on Newton entering the year and really nothing’s changed my opinion up to this point, but I have to do it, right? Colston’s trade value won’t be any higher after two monster weeks so I figure I should take advantage of it.
I would take it. Then I would try to find a team in desperate need of QB help and spin Rivers/Cutler and Brown/Moore for a slight upgrade at WR. Even without being able to pull off the second part I would still do it. I may be biased as Colston is one of those players year in and year out I stay away from as I think his perceived value is higher than his actual. Also I rarely have seen teams win a fantasy championship with a "serviceable" QB and the 3 you have are almost the definition. Pull the trigger I say.

I say no. Colston could have a monster week any week and do you really need 4 starting QBs? Those 3 are more than enough to get by with. Maybe you should try trading Rivers or Cutler to someone with weak QBs for a flex play.
I'm just glad he had at least one good week. I was starting to worry there.
Well, when 4 of my 5 best players are all out in a single week, you could've started Abra at RB and still beaten me. Actually, she might be tougher than CJ, so that could be an aggregate gain.
I'm looking to swap some of my WR depth for some RB depth.
I've got: Desean Jackson, fresh off his bye week. Jeremy Kerley, seeing more action in Holmes' absence. Titus Young, looking at increased targets with Burleson gone. Leonard Hankerson, also looking up sans Garcon.
And yes, Randall Cobb... but I'm not parting with him aside from a boner-inducing blockbuster of an offer.
Anyone interested? Send an offer or drop me a line.
.36. That's POINT 3 6. Congratulations Sang, I hope your happy.
Technically, you lost by .24 points. That is less than 3 rushing yards, less than 3 receiving yards, only one reception, or 6 passing yards.
Also, Flanz, you need to replace D. Murray in our match.
Yeah, I know, was waiting until the last possible second to pick up someone, but my god are these the lowest of the low scraps. Went with Chris Rainey, since Mendenhall is out and hopefully Redmond as well. Rainey won't do much, but he'll hopefully get a ton of return yards.
Advice time. Jordy Nelson is likely out. Do I roll with Josh Gordon, Heyward-bey or Kenny Britt?
Second question: pick two. Michael Turner, Jonathan Stewart, Alex green or Jonathan Dwyer.
San Diego is one of the worse pass defenses in the league, and Gordon is the Browns' biggest receiving threat.
Carson Palmer has inexplicably been playing well lately, but DHB is just way too inconsistent for me.
I really don't know what to think about Britt, he could go 150 and a TD or get 20 yards. Or get arrested on the drive over to the stadium.
I'd probably go with Gordon, gun to my head.
RB's I'd go with Dwyer. The Iggles' defense is for real and with Ryans in the middle they can handle big backs like Turner. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jacquizz (best name ever) Rodgers get a lot of playing time with the Falcons passing a lot after going down early (which I expect will happen before the inevitable Vick meltdown).

So I'd go Gordon/Dwyer, probably.
No love for Alex green against a putrid jags defense?
I weighed picking him up in one league, but he just seems like he's not any good and only gets yards late in games when defenses are tired of chasing the GB receivers. 3.1 ypc after 5 games is a big enough sample size for me to at least know he's not on my short list of emergency options.
Dwyer is going to start and get a lot of carries, and even though the Skins' run defense is good...he's basically their only real RB. I picked up Rainey in the 20-team league because my choices were between him and a bunch of fullbacks, but he's not capable of doing much of anything. Dwyer is going to get 20-25 touches most likely and he's a capable (if unspectacular) receiver out of the backfield. Rainey sucks at blocking, so Dwyer will probably see a lot of 3rd down time.
I know the Steelers almost as well as I know the Jets (product of my best friend and former roommate being as insane about Pitt as I am about the Jets, and our email correspondence about the two teams that is currently at 978 emails since Week 1), so I might be a big biased, but I think Dwyer outperforms Green.

I think Juggs said pick two RB's.
Personally I think I'd go with Dwyer and Green. Green hasn't been good, but Jacksonville's rush defense is awful and I'd have to imagine Green Bay will be running a decent amount in the second half. I could see like 20 carries for 60-70 yards with a decent shot for a touchdown. Can't really say the same for Turner and Stewart.

Oh, I misread that. I'd go Dwyer and then either Green or Turner.
