Just listened to the full album and it might be my album of the year so far. So creative and unique and just a lot of fun to listen to. This will be on my phone for a long time.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

^^Some albums just don't translate well until you see them live. I'd give it a chance but have a backup just in case you want to roll a few songs into the set.

I don't see me bouncing from this show regardless.....No Beastie Boys conflict this year
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
Since I was fortunate enough to see this at The Ryman a few months ago, this might clear up a conflict for me, but I'll totally see it again if there isn't one. It was a really great show, those of you who haven't seen it (and also those who have) will have a blast.

I probably rank this set third behind Macca and Bjork. I wouldnt mind a late night or at least an evening set. It would be cool if they were the What Stage act before one of the headliners like Rodrigo y Gabriela last year.

It seems like the tour was split almost 50/50 as to their own songs and the joint songs. Hopefully they keep the ratio the same, just shorten the set to fit the slot. Hopefully we also get Road to Nowhere.

If they have a 90 minute set they won't really have to scale back much, would they?

Hmm, I didn't see the new tour. Comparing David's previous Bonnaroo set to his regular shows he played 19 songs at roo' compared to usually 21ish for a regular show. Looks like they're playing a few more songs together, but you're probably right in thinking they'd only have to cut a few. Who knows, maybe they're late night and we get a full set!
