I don't really get Gorillaz. Never understood the adoration they get, people seem to pine after them like they pine after Daft Punk. I don't dislike them, just don't see what makes them so special.
I feel like I can say this after watching this sequence in The Graduate over and over for Film Studies.
"The Sound of Silence" is a bad song.
I can understand people not liking certain things that I find wonderful (NMH, Sufjan), but I'm genuinely surprised by this. If it's something you just don't care for all that much that's one thing, but bad? What makes you say that?

I guess I should be more specific.
The remixed version with the electric instruments is bad (and that's the one used in the film). It's obvious that they were simply overlaid on the track and the guitar is grating.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
(FYI- there is no visual in this. It was recorded in the early 2000s as audio only, so someone took the time to create this so it could be added to YouTube)
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I rarely eat Oreos as is (I am kinda with FuzzyWarbles that I prefer Oreos in my ice ceam- and prefer, I mean LOVE). But my mom just had me try one of these yesterday:
So good! I loved them- the mint ones specifically were pretty Thin Mint-esque, but I bet the regular ones are good too. I like a perfect ratio of cookie to filling- I don't like one without the other, and don't like double stuffed.

SAME. oreos in ice cream or chocolate pudding - which is why I don't want the frosting ("cream filling" ?!) just give me the cookie part!!
but hot damn those thin oreos with mint look amazing. I think I need to try those.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
