Inforoo’ers wisdom for the ages!

What is some of the little wisdom nuggets you live by or just like?

Post yours, and like others. I will add the ones who acquire two likes to the OP list.

The intent is to find and record meaningful sayings. I do realize that meaningless thoughts for one, can be meaningful thoughts to others. There are no judges here.
I will start it off with one that comes to mind.

1) "Don’t concern yourself too much what other people think of you because they normally don’t"
2) "Don't take sh*t from nobody"
3) "Never frown, even when you are sad. You never know who is falling in love with your smile"
4) "Never miss a Morning Jacket set"
5) "When you are good to others, you are best to yourself."
6) "Knowledge speaks, wisdom listens"
7) "Time is nature's way of keeping everything from happening at once"
8) "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore"
9) "Bananas have lots of potassium"
10) "Most people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them"
11)"Discretion is the better part of valor"
12) Bananas are the only proper way to recover from a My Morning Jacket show

NOTE: I give up on keeping with my original idea of listing "liked" sayings in the OP. I hereby direct you to the continuing post on the thread for some good sayings. haha
