I know I havent been around these parts for too long but Im thinking, in honor of my 100th post, If Im able to get into the city early enough Id come meet up with you guys pre show. Im going with my buddy and his brother but theyre not supposed to make it into the city until later. So instead of waiting on them, Im thinking Ill try and come introduce myself to some of Inforoos finest. Do you guys have a plan yet?

No clue about a schedule. I"m assuming it's just one stage and the bands play one after the other but I could be wrong. I'm down for whatever we end up doing.

It says on the website that doors open at 2 and show is from 5 til roughly 9pm.
5 bands in 4 hours is tight scheduling. I wonder how hard of a ceiling that 9pm ending time is.
oh and a recent tweet by global citizen gave the impression that the "headliners" start at 5pm. So maybe The Black Keys, Foo Fighers, and NY&CH start at 5?

I think I'm actually hopping in my parents car because they are actually going down for the weekend too (Yippee to not spending money on gas/tolls aaand being able to nap on the way home if need be!) We've recently received a lot of requests for the set times for the artists donating their time at the Global Citizen Festival this Saturday. We hear you.
At 5 PM the show will begin with an amazing performance from Somali-Canadian hip hop star K'Naan, followed by rockers Band of Horses. After them, The Black Keys will take the stage at around 6 PM. At just before 7, Foo Fighters will use their music to call for action against extreme poverty, and after 8 PM Neil Young with Crazy Horse will do what they do best: raise awareness and help fight injustice with their timeless, classic-studded set.
Celebrity hosts and world leaders will be there throughout the day. The world's leading charities will celebrate new commitments to combating extreme poverty. Trust us, you don't want to miss a single moment. Gates are at 2 PM, surprises start at 5. We expect a line to start building over night, and If you arrive early you'll get closest to the stage. We'll see you in the park

And I feel like once Neil starts going he'll push through 9pm.
Maybe they set it up this way so Neil could play later than scheduled? He has 2 hours to finish up his set before the NYPD will look to shut it down...

Yeah, unfortunately I've been wrong about pretty much everything regarding this show, so don't bank on me being right.
