Hateful Eight was disappointing. Sammy Jackson has a great monologue and there are some good moment of humor, but overall in terms of plot and pacing, I think this is one of Tarantino's worst movies. Which is still leagues ahead of most movies, mind you, but I'd probably rank it lowest of the Tarantino movies I've seen (and I'm pretty sure I've seen all of them except for Jackie Brown, but I might be wrong).
Shoooooot. Oh well, I'm still seeing it anyway in 70mm on Saturday.

Also, not exactly Xmas themed, but revisiting...
Oh don't worry, I still think you'll like it. Tarantino is Tarantino. I enjoy him, and I enjoyed this film as well. I just don't think it's up to snuff in comparison to his other films.
It's really good. I've been meaning to watch it forever. Just got done with the Hayley Atwell episode(Be Back Soon). I feel like rolling up in a blanket and sobbing.
Did you ever watch Utopia? The Channel 4 Sci-fi show, not the reality one. You'd like it if you like this. I've pimped it so much and everyone is still missing out.
