Saw this last night, and I friggin' loved it. It's an absolutely awe inspiring film, on a production level, and the acting is simply superb. Excellent all around.
Also, showed Cabin In The Woods to some non horror fans last night... who were really reluctant to see it. I told them to just give the first few minutes of the film a chance... as I expected, it simultaneously confused and intrigued them. It was a hit.

This has been on my Must-See list for years, ever since I heard The Frames' song by the same name. I doubt I'll love the movie as much as I adore that song (since it's my favorite of theirs), but it's Herzog...so anything's possible. Damn you, Netflix! Why can't you have stuff like THIS available in streaming?!?
Netflix can be quite aggravating in that sense. But, once you get a hold of it... it's a foreign talkie, and it's 2.5 hours long. I didn't have issue making it through, but I could see how some may.
This is real... stumbled across it just a while back, and about to start it up. Brief synopsis: A short documentary in which directors Werner Herzog and Erol Morris make a bet which results in Herzog being forced to eat his own shoe.
"Incident At Loch Ness"... yeah, I've been on a Herzog tear, over the last few days. This is pretty funny, not a Christopher Guest level mockumentary, but it's a tad more subtle. Entertaining enough.
Not bad at all. Great performances from Brody and Sami Gayle as well as the rest of the ensemble. Brody is a substitute teacher trying to save the troubled inner city kids in his class and the outside world at the same time. It's on Netflix Instant.
