A few friends and I were indulging in some corn earlier today and decided to go to the local Junior High and play some Frisbee. It was really windy and we all thought it was so neat how it would fly everywhere, and someone brought up Bonnaroo.
To get to the end we though it would be really neat to get a couple hundred people at 'Roo with frisbees and all throw them up in the air all at once and try to catch one when it comes back.
I don't know if there is any room for anything like this, but it sure would be neat.
Well I know there had been some talks about bringing Frisbees and playing some ultimate Frisbee or possibly disc golf. No clue what thread that was in though. I myself bought a Flashflight specifically for 'roo. So I'd like to get down on some nighttime Frisbee action.

I'm in. Dont let this thread die or revive it around June... come up with a time and place to meet...call guiness book of world records and we could probably set some kind of crazy record. We could probably even get someone to donate the frisbees with their advertisement put on each. What if they were all glow in the dark frisbees? Or the battery powered ones with lasers shooting out the sides? That might hurt someone on the way down if it knocked them in the head, but it would be hillarious.

They have glow in the dark frisbees. Which i think would be insane. no flashlight and 100 glow in the dark frisbees all in the air at once. someone would get hurt for sure though.
The best time for glow in the dark toys would be either during, before, or after Kanye's show. Would be perfect considering this is his last stop on the "Glow in the Dark" tour.
I think trying to do it all at once would result in a shitload of frisbee's bumping into each other and landing on the ground five feet from whence they came. Or a bunch of enhanced and uncoordinated people getting smacked in the face with a flying piece of plastic.
Sounds like an idea not ideally suited for Centeroo, personally. Then again, I've never been a big fan of frisbee unless playing in water so I'm probably a poor judge. Sorry to be a negative ned.

Ooh, I like the glow in the dark frisbees at Kanye's show idea! That would look seriously cool. I'm undecided about whether I want to be at the show, but chances are with no other shows at the same time I'd end up there. We should definitely try to get something organized with frisbees at some point, it would look awesome!
im looking for a picture of my frisbee, but i bought it last year before 'roo, its got a red, blue, and green LED on it, and it looks frikkin sweet in the air
a safer, cheaper alternative would be those necklace sized glowsticks. You can get em online for a few cents each, string em into nearly frisbee sized rings, throw em and not care if you get em back!

having played dodge ball with frisbees before, i can say that while this would probably look cool, people WILL get hurt. i've been smacked in the face more than a few times, and it is no fun
In my travels to Atlantic City I found a dollar depot store on the boardwalk. They had these flexible jelly and ultra wierdly soft flying discs (frisbees). They were ultra soft because they felt like my ex's breast implant when she had it removed (the other one burst).
Also, because they were made out of this cyber skin like material. You could fold it up and stuff it in your back pocket. Then just whip it out and throw- they were pretty great just wish I could remember the name of them.
Anyways they GLOWED(?) in the dark.!!!!!!! Hard to imagine any safety issues with these as they were rated for kids ages 3 and up. If you got hit in the face with one it would be comparable to a surprise kiss from an excited friend and bumping a little.
I bought 80 of em and gave em away at fests through out the summer-giving gifts is fun, specially if adults act like children again, for a brief moment in time.

My two cents and change, Trip

How about big beach balls, we already see a few at certain shows, but if we all showed up at the same show and threw a beach ball, there would be like literally millions of them. *Dr. Evil pinkie* Beach balls don't hurt either! Atleast to my knowledge they don't
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

I definitely plan on playing Ultimate Frisbee at some point like if there's a few hours where there isn't any bands playing that I'm particularly interested in seeing... football, too
There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard. No song that I could sing. But I can try for your heart Our dreams, and they are made out of real things Like a, shoebox of photographs With sepiatone loving Love is the answer
