Wow, did the Georgia players miss the plane to Missouri? I knew this would be a difficult game of them, but I thought it would be better than this. Why is Bobo still the OC?
Wow to Oregon State defense today. Great win to start there, take down wisconsin
Not to take away from Oregon State because they thoroughly outplayed Wisconsin for pretty much the entire game, but to overturn that call on the onside kick was just comical. Might be the worst overturn I've ever seen in football.
3-I am already sick to death of hearing about how Logan Thomas is the second coming of Cam Newton. Sick to death.
That's a general gripe with football announcers. They find story lines and just beat them into the ground. One of UT's games last year featured them mentioning how young of a team UT was every 3 minutes for the whole game. It got old real quick.
Anyone else want to put up a W-L prediction for your team? Here goes mine for UT. I am sure Sang will love it.
Overall (8-4) SEC (4-4) North Carolina State W Georgia State W #23 Florida L Akron W #6 Georgia L Mississippi State W #2 Alabama L #9 South Carolina L Troy W Missouri W Vanderbilt W Kentucky W
A lot of our games seem like 50-50s or 60-40s either way, so I based them off being either home or away games.

Yeah, if I am going to be wrong about anything, it will be Missouri. Honestly, I don't know much about their recent history. I think Vandy is more of a lock, but they will probably play up to us because of that cell phone video last year.
most sec fans i've talked to are underestimating mizz and a&m. they'll be right there in mix. not at the top, but definitely competing. and i said vandy may beat you, just because it's a rivalry game, anything goes there.
This. I've been so sick and tired of ESPN and most other major sports media talking up Mizzou and A&M's "welcome to the SEC" blahblahblah. Really?? They only played in the Big 12.... It's not like some non-AQ or Big Ten team coming into the mix. The Big 12 is really legit and is easily the 2nd best conference, not far behind the SEC. Yes, they have a very different strategy for winning (offense vs defense), but that doesn't mean they aren't very legit. I expect Mizzou and A&M to hold their own around the middle of the pack or just above it. After a few years, who knows what they'll become. Will being the SEC give them better recruiting opportunities in far off locales? Will they ultimately rack up more losses and therefore get fewer big recruits? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we should respect them as bowl eligible teams in recent years from a very respectable conference.
lol at any team north of Georgia running the table
realistically i do think UGA drops one game. most likely at SC but I'm still going to have faith that we can pull the upset in the SEC Championship and get into the BCS game.
Lame win vs Buffalo + tonight's game....hmmm no. I understand you're missing defensive players, but the offense has seemed fairly stagnant, especially with the hype around Murray. I agree you can still go the reg season with 1 loss given a very favorable schedule, but this doesn't look like a team deserving of a championship game bid.

It seems they figured out the old Montee Ball Problem.
For what it's worth, Wisconsin's offensive line has been embarrassingly bad the first two games. Northern Iowa's d-line more than held their own against them last week, and Oregon State pretty much dominated in the trenches today.
And that's the last I'll say about a team/conference no one cares about.
Just watched the highlight of the onside kick on espn, it seemed like a good call from the only angle I saw.
Wisconsin's kicker touched the ball before 10 yards, but from one of the three angles they were showing it clearly bounced of an OSU player's shin before that. Not only that, it was initially called Wisconsin's ball so they needed indisputable evidence to overturn it, which is a load of sh*t.
Really though it doesn't matter. With Ohio State having a postseason ban all Wisconsin has to do is finish ahead the likes of Purdue/Indiana/Illinois to make the B10 title game, which if they can't do then who cares about this game.

I mean, Louisiana-Monroe?!? I understand your QB is out, but surely your defense shouldn't give up 14 points in the last quarter/you should be able to run the ball. That is just sad.

So...anyone notice that Fl State is the new Florida? Line up two patsy opponents in your first two home games and chest thump about how bad ass you are. You go FL State; whoop up on Murray State and Savannah State.
Bacon, I saw that score & the first thing I thought was that you must be so happy! What a great win for Arizona. I don't know why, but I have never liked OK St. So glad to see the Wildcats laid the beat down on them.
Am I the only one who was surprised by the Miss St - Auburn score?
I was a bit surprised, but Miss St is legit, they started just out of the top 25, around where Tennessee started.
I just figured that Auburn would have been a bit more respectable even if they lost. The score may have lied to me, but it makes it look like it wasn't even close really.
WTF Arkansas? I have no doubt that my 10 year old will be calling my dad first thing tomorrow morning to bash his Pigs.
I think Ark is going to be a lot like Penn State this year where all the controversy in the off-season is going to bleed over and cause them to drop more games than they should.

Ya it was a great game, best win in about 2 years since we beat Iowa at home and there was the revenge factor too. Always fun to be in the student section for games like tonight
I'm disturbed by the fact that it took UGA almost 3 full quarters to get it into sync, and even then it was mostly big plays on the part of the defense. Mike Bobo is a quacking idiot. I don't know whose weenie he has been washing for the past few years but the powers that be just can't see it....
We did have some bright spots - Gurley, Jarvis Jones, Jenkins....
next week against University of What the Fuck we should have Rambo and couple other of our thugs back on the defensive lineup.
I'm glad we won 41-20 but it should have been 63-14. Hopefully they'll get it in sync the rest of the way before they play a real opponent. I still think they're legitimately a top 10 team...but if they don't hit the ground running next week, and every week thereafter, I think that rating should rightfully be jeopardized. South Carolina on the 21st will be the first real opponent, and Carolina is always a good game.
i wasnt too unimpressed considering key defensive players were out besides it taking 4 quarters. ill take a 41-20 win regardless.
I am just being realistic here. With the propensity of UGA players to stray from the straight and narrow (translate = potential future suspensions ALWAYS possible) and the fact that there was a lackluster performance at the beginning of the game....I just think that the machine needs to be well tuned before heading into Carolina.
I have full confidence in my Dawgs....but the only way for them to garner the national respect and SEC title that they are capable of is to consistently perform. Also, the guys just need to chill and stop getting those stupid little penalties. Hasn't mattered yet but I can guarantee you that it will against Carolina and the rest of the SEC schedule.
