Some of you might know, some of you might not. But unlucky for all of you ladies, I'm getting married! ;D
Last August I popped the question and we set the date for August 24th, 2013. A lot of things are arranged already but there is one difficult question we are facing now.
What should be our opening dance? We don't wan't anything like Elton John or Frank Sinatra. We want something different.
I made a shortlist of songs we are liking at this moment. Can you help us choose?
1. Train - Marry Me
2. Ray LaMontagne - Shelter
3. Houston - 1.000 Songs
4. The Eagles - No More Cloudy Days
5. Something Else???
I hope you don't mind giving these song a listen and make your best suggestion. I have my favorite, let's see if this song will win the poll.

I usually would agree with this statement except for right now. That song is a guilty pleasure AND makes me feel all sappy and sentimental when I listen to it! It makes me want a boyfriend.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
You can't go wrong w/Ray LaMontagne, but MMJ's "Golden" is definitely my pick. These lyrics melt me every time I hear 'em - they're almost like PERFECT wedding vows set to music!:
"Feelin' you are here again, hot on my skin again Feeling good a thing I'd never known before What does it mean to feel? Millions of dreams come real A feeling in my soul I'd never felt before And you always told me No matter how long it holds me If it falls apart or makes us millionaires You'll be right here forever We'll go thru this thing together And on heaven's golden shore we'll lay our heads."
so, this might be really cheesy, but can we have a shower for you guys at brunch next year? You obviously can't go back to Belgium with a load of toasters and the like (haha) but I think we could have some fun with it and you might get a few good things!
Personally, if my fiancée wanted me to dance to an Eagles song, I'd probably have to call the wedding off.
I didn't vote, but I'd like to put in a good word for the Beach Boys' "God Only Knows." Maybe that's just me. All I know about any music for my hypothetical wedding is the inclusion of that song, and that I'm walking down the aisle to the Pixies' "Here Comes Your Man."
