3. I have begun to mentally plan my costume… I am going to head to JoAnn Fabric’s this afternoon to pick up some goods to begin! Obviously, my costume will involve a tutu, because (thanks to Mayo and PP…) I am obsessed with making them). As far as costumes go…. Are most people planning a one costume for one night type deal or small parts that can be worn every day? My first thought was something between the two- have a full costume for when needed, but have ears and a tutu (with a tail) for everyday use?
Can we start taking bets on what time Thursday night's first fall is?

You're forgetting that I haven't seen the movie, yet I baaaarely know what you are referring to!
Speaking of which, when I was googling images, I noticed that there seems to be multiple versions out there.. any tips on the version(s) that I should see? Original Disney? The newer one? I will probably even buy a copy since I have some major studying to do!

Working out the logistics tonight and hopefully I can get rid of the ticket. I could talk a travel companion into this one (the lineup is more their speed then coachella.)
Normally I would do a bunch of research on these types of things but Im at work now so plz excuse my ignorance. Noob question #1: Which day is everyone arriving? I gathered from the fb group Scrog would be there earlier then most to get a camping spot. Just trying to figure out when I would need flight dates.
Noob Question #2: Camping vs hotel? Im not opposed to camping. I am opposed to paying $$ to fly all my gear down. Im also not big on having to rely on other people for things especially for my first trip to a fest.

I have extra tents, my friend Kerri has an extra tent (or did Bonz take that one). Either way camping for sure. I mean, you already have an Igloo cooler down here in Florida. It might be filled with Playa dust at the moment, but you are half way there.

Has anything been done about tea sets? I was thinking about ordering two kids sets (it would only be 8 cups) and shipping them to someone who is driving (besides Scrog since you have so much already). Something like this:

Fawn made some awesome decorations for the table. I mean she made the table, cake and all, but we will need tea cups to drink out of and more props as well. I was gonna say, bring your own "tea" cup to the un-birthday party, but it would be nice to have extra as well.

Copy that...just trying to figure out if it would make more sense take my good 'ol time and drive down 13 hours (thus keeping my control freak at bay allowing me to travel with all my supplies but extending the trip a couple extra days) or fly and have to worry bout the logistics of gear (minus the cooler youve so graciously kept safe for me!)and such. Hmmm gives me something to think about tonight.
I have only heard good things about the festival from you veterans. It is certainly tops on my list of festivals I have not been to, this year is not looking good though. May end up taking this year off completely for multiple reasons. All that will be a lot clearer come this Friday.
As for Wanee, you guys take a lot of pictures, looking forward to them and the stories.
Fawn is AWESOME for doing the table among everything else!! I think these would be a good addition. I'll totally order these and have them sent to someone.

I'm most likely hitchhiking with Zen from ATL AAAND I plan to stick around an extra day or two before or after Wanee because I've never seen your stomping ground... so whether you go or not (I HOPE YOU DOOO!), save a happy hour/dinner/ drinks for meeee.

This will be inspiration for my tail and leg warmers... Sugar, how much fabric is needed for the leg warmers and do you have any tips for me?
I made some of these that turned out great. Just an 18"x18" square, sew up the back and add some wide elastic to the top. The inside can be itchy, so you might want a soft lining. Also, they can be hoooooot.

Thanks, Clairity Lining them is a great idea. Maybe I can vent them somehow, too? If I need to, I can just wear them at night and skip them during the day.
Ncb- Scrog said it's carside camping, but he's not sure if he can save enough room for everyone, so some of the latecomers might need to park and walk.

Hear you loud and clear. We are combining Wannee with a visit to Mom.. One night i said to Quacker.. the logistics of flying, camping etc are making me a little nutty, what do you think about a drive? He said LETS GO!! I"D Love to.
We are driving down early with an SVU full of Alice in Wonderland (only what cant be mailed - which is amazingly a Lot!) and front ending our trip with a visit to mom.
Our tentative plans are to drive up to meet Scroggie on Tuesday, get our tent set up, get Alice set up and skidddadle.. And head back late wed or early thursday. Prob thursday.. we shall see.
